This necklace is absolutely stunning. The pearls have a lovely luster and appear to be perfectly round, with no visible flaws based on a cursory inspection. I have not thoroughly searched the necklace with a lens, and I have no desire to do so, but I will say that the product is elegant and beautiful, and I am very pleased. br>br>Before buying pearls for my wife, I did some research on the differences between saltwater and freshwater pearls. freshwater pearls, as well as the seller's reputations. I chose saltwater pearls (such as these) because they appear to be 1) more lustrous than their freshwater counterparts, and 2) have a higher perceived value. On the basis of reputation, I decided against buying pearls from a different vendor. I haven't dealt directly with the other vendor, so I won't mention them, but I encourage you to look up vendor names on the internet and read reviews. The Pearl Source, the vendor I ultimately chose, seemed to please their customers, with none of them claiming that the pearl grading was inaccurately represented. br>br>This necklace was made of AA-grade pearls, which I admit I mistook for the highest pearl grade. This, I suppose, diminishes the significance of my research. (To be honest, after seeing the necklace, I still assumed it was the highest grade of pearl, and it wasn't until I wrote this review that I realized AAA was a valid rating. ) This fact only adds to my admiration for the necklace's craftsmanship. ) It turns out that the grading process is a little hazy, but I read somewhere that AAA or AAAA grades in the context of Akoya pearls should be avoided. However, because I am not an expert, I encourage you to form your own opinions. br>br>Here's a tip for anyone looking to buy a necklace: Check both sides of the clasp for split rings. If the hook or clamp isn't fully closed, the necklace may fall out. Because my wife has a proclivity for misplacing and/or destroying expensive items of any kind, I noticed a gap in the split ring next to the hook on this necklace and filled it with needle-and-thread. pliers with a long nose as soon as possible. I recommend doing the same thing with any clamp-on device. a box containing jewelry that you've bought br>br>The item was delivered on time and in good condition. It was inside a white box, in a red padded (possibly vinyl) jewelry box. This was an excellent piece of writing. bubble-wrapped protection Wrap it up in a box from Amazon. Cedric, our UPS guy, delivered this box, and he always seems to leave my house as soon as I get home in a hurry. It's quite amusing. I don't place a large number of orders. However, he appears to be popular with my wife. br>br>To summarize, I believe this was a fantastic piece of jewelry at an excellent price, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This was a gift for my freshman high school daughter for Christmas. I'll admit that I'm no pearl expert, but I do recognize fakes when I see them. This isn't some cheap imitation. br>br>First and foremost, the box in which they are packaged is incredible. This is how you do it if you want to impress someone. It's an excellent box in and of itself. To my naked eye, the pearls appear to be flawless, with no visible flaws and a uniform color. The size of the pearls was my main concern. I had no idea what size to get for a 15-year-old. This is perfect, and it would look great on anyone of any age. br>br>The clasp would be my only criticism. It felt cheap to me, despite the fact that it was a standard pearl clasp. This would be an ideal gift for a female friend, wife, or daughter. The pearls are beautiful, and I'm glad I purchased them. If given the opportunity, I would. I'd buy the same set all over again.

The crab- The claw catch is a gimmick that doesn't work very well. br>There is a twist in the necklace that will not go away. Other reviews left an impression on me. To me, the money I paid for it was a significant sum of money. I was hoping for something a little more impressive.
