I believe you might be able to wash the Sanuk Donna hemp. The problem with cleaning your kicks is not rocket science, but rather the material you use. The upper of the Sanuk should hold up well to a friendly machine wash on cold as long as it isn't leather (most aren't). Simply toss them in a washing machine, add a color safe detergent and spin till they ring. Cleaning your Sanuks always means exercising extra caution, and putting them in the dryer is an absolute no-no. My order was returned and I resubmitted it It is a size 7 and I ordered it. I have been wearing them for almost a week now, and they have stretched perfectly to fit me. These are fantastic, but keep in mind that they stretch when ordering so order down a size.
I am wearing a size down in Donna Hemp. As of the age of 8, I've played with stuffed animals. My measurements are 5 wide, and I got a size 8 because I found that size 9 fit looser after a while. There will be some stretching with this shoe. * Update * In order to see what a Sanuk size 8 and a size 8 look like, I ordered two sizes Since I was not sure what 5 would feel like, I went to a REI store nearby. It fits, but I can stick my finger into my heel and it feels loose so it is too big. Sanuk size 8 is what I ended up being able to wear. If I start to feel pain in my feet, I'll remove the insoles and replace them with Dr. Scholl's.
