This slip has many issues for me. The other Maidenform shapewear I like has been so great that I was delighted to receive this. There is no denying that this was a 1) I bought this slip in an XL because that's what I wear in the other Maidenform Flexees shapewear and this listing did not provide any sizing information to indicate that this slip is sized differently than the other Although it was tiny, it was too big for me. As a matter of fact, it was so small that I couldn't even slide it over my thighs, let alone my hips and belly. Often it's a good idea to size down when you want more control, but on this occasion, that was not the case. In light of that, my next point is 2) The quality appears to be very poor. This type of fabric is silky and really thin, like a regular tube of lipstick A slip to fit your shape. The shoulder area is made of a foamy material (similar to wetsuits) that was unfinished along the back and shoulders (see photographs). Since this material is not going to fray when it's wet, I understand now why it's so strong There are ways to make shapewear "no-line" without compromising the integrity of the garment, but I thought I was going to rip this if I tried to put it on. There is no real need for stitching, but it made the whole slip feel very fragile. In addition, let's be honest A rough journey can be required to enter the world of shapewear. What is the point of this "firm control" slip if it can't survive the process? Furthermore, there is a hook-and-eye area beneath the slip, so you can wear your pants with it A closure with a hook and eye. It felt impossible not to rip the mesh in this whole area because it is made of such a thin fabric. (See again the *)
3) When something is described as "firm control" I have certain expectations, especially if I have purchased, used, and loved other products from this same line. However, today's slip is a bit embarrassing. That's what I don't like about it. It's a little stretchy and---- In the unlikely event it managed to get over my butt without tearing it apart, I would have ripped it apart, too. There would have been a form-fitting element to it, but it was the only indication that this was shapewear and not just a regular In my opinion, this is not the type of control that anyone wants. For people who don't want much help in "shaping" all of their bits, it's a light, everyday wear. I would like to wear a light, form fitting slip if I were a much smaller woman, don't mind hooks, and don't mind being clad in anything with a collar. If I had to pee into a fragile mesh panty while wearing hook-and-eye closures, I might feel better about this item. But as it stands, I am not that woman, so the item has been packed up in anticipation of returning it. In conclusion, I would like to note that A ring of silicone surrounds the bottom of the slip to keep it from riding up, and the lace around the bust opening makes the slip very pretty.
In my closet, there are a bunch of sweater dresses that don't look as sleek and flattering as they used If I were to get a body shaper, I could get into doing 100 crunches a day. In comparison to the short version of the biker, I like the slip version better. There is a good deal of comfort here. In fact, it is rather sexy (if I may say so myself). I tested it and My lines are nice and smooth like they were when I was a kid.
Nice, slick material and has a bit of compression though there would have been better I found it to be well made and, even though it would ride up at times on me during the day, it was comfortable and I plan to wear it.
I'm in love with this shaper. In the past, I would wear corsets under dresses, but now I don't need to do so since I have this shapewear slip. My favorite part of the silicone band is that it keeps my slip on my legs, rather than.
The tag for this product reads "joyshaper. ".
Maintains good control over the situation. Although the band is too tight, it keeps you in place and gives you a smoothie. I thought a medium would be best. For a quarter of the price, this 130 lb scale is as good as Waco's.
I'm uncertain about purchasing my 1st type of control undergarment, and this is the first one I have ever bought. It was a very good buy, and I'm glad I got it. A snug fit is to be expected, but it is done on purpose. My dresses look better and feel more confident with it, because it holds all my less attractive flabby bits in place.
It was uncomfortable to wear under clothing with shoulder straps that rolled up.
