As I was wearing it in black, it felt so dowdy. A shiny black trash bag would be more appropriate. There was no need to increase a size, as the "too small" reviews indicated the size was huge. In addition, the fabric does not feel comfortable at all. I wore my new lingerie underneath the robe, and my boyfriend laughed at the robe and joked about boxing.

What I adore most about these robes is that there are ties both on the inside and outside to keep them closed, as I had a similar cheap robe that would fall apart constantly without them. I like it a lot!.
