You have to think about the size of the digital camera when you answer this question. I find mine to be suitable A Nikon in its older days. It holds a lot of weight and is a great back. My trip to Italy was made possible with it. My comfort and safety was very important to me. In addition, I like that you can bring along a bottle of water.
You can fit a mini iPad nicely, if you have an original iPad as well, but anything else should fit too
It hasn't been wet since I carried it.
It has only one main strap rather than two, so the main part of the bag is easy to pull around to the front if you need to get anything out of it.

The product is very well made, it has a great size, and it looks great. Due to the bag's design, its strap is straight. This is due to the fact that it can be worn on either shoulder (nice carabiner mechanism to switch sides). the strap is worn, it is closer towards the neck, over the trapezius muscle, than it is over the shoulder. As a result of the strap's width, it will rub against the neck, as it sits above the shirt. You might find that this is somewhat uncomfortable over time and can be irritating if you are wearing a collared shirt. In addition, there is no chest or waist support, so if you run to catch the train or bus, the shirt is likely to slide around.
This is a very nice daypack. In order to help me carry my belongings on excursions during a cruise, I purchased this bag. I like the feel of the fabric, the light interior and opted to wear it cross body on my front while on excursions. I could access my wallet or anything else I needed to take in and out throughout the day using it. A small adjustment that the makers could make would be to give more thought to the credit card slot on the inside. I placed a card in the slot before putting in and taking out items in the pack. Dislodging the cards from the slots was a frequent occurrence. Since I was determined that I wanted to use those RFID slots, I made my own safety snap on strip to help keep the cards attached. I worked well, though one made by the company would be much more appealing.
