I would not buy this set if I knew these details were not mentioned in its title line. If I knew of this, I would not buy this set; I was looking for the type of earrings that can be silver-finished and not gold-finished.
Following my purchase, the seller revealed that they changed in color. The posts and hoops are both silver-colored, and the nickel-plated white gold is where it makes a difference. With the first few weeks of my use of it I lost the plate and exposed the nickel. It's much smaller.

As they are cute, not sterling silver. In my photo,you will see rust colored stains around the edges and some metal tarnish. As of now, I have rust from paying for something that stated it would be silver. Advertising that is bad.
They are, however, stamped 925 sterling silver rather than the specified 925 silver. My set comes with nothing stamped inside as I just received it. It's because they are cheap that they're attractive. If they are described as sterling silver, Amazon should apologize.

Just cheap. In May of 2020, I bought these earrings set. There was no doubt that 925 stamps were applied despite being extremely lightweight. As soon as they first wear, the sterling silver jewelry cleaner basically taken most of the rest off because they were 925. What's good for you, y you pay for! 925 should be considered white gold when this description suggests it. is the largest of the pairs. Heavily reddened now. useless!.
