The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I didn't realize these were not Though the color is called "black," it is actually a dark metal shade. That was still nice (even if it wasn't my favorite)! That's what I expected, but not what I got. The photos look like dark metal after you look at them after the fact, but there are so many variations in computer screens, etc. , that it was difficult to guess what color they are initially. However, I remain. I found them to be very light and fluffy The shoes were comfortable for 8+ hours and not a single blister appeared.
