I went with the Xlarge size. I'm 5'4" as well, but I'm 190 pounds. Depending on your figure, the large may be a little too tight. Mine was a perfect fit for me.
I'd go with a medium or large if I were you. I'm 5'8" tall, 210 pounds, and wear GAP jeans in size 14- The XL has a lot of space in it. I'm going to place another order for a size L.
This dress has a strong grip on the body. To avoid this problem, make sure you order the correct size. 😉. Best of luck with your purchases.
With full 39" hips and broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and a smaller bust (34B), I'm pretty close to your height and weight. It's the perfect fit for me. I usually wear a size 10 top and an 8-inch bottom. tenth from the bottom I hope this information is useful.

The fit was excellent, and I have received no returns on any of the dresses I have ordered from this company. It appears to be elegant, and it would be appropriate for both work and a night out. It washes well and the appliques are securely attached. It shrinks in length a little, so don't be concerned if you're a shorter girl! Give it a thorough wash and dry. Even after being washed and dried, it still fits in the body.
I ordered a Medium and it fit perfectly, with the exception of the armpit area. It was way too tight, which may be due to my large arms, but I cut it horizontally under my arm. After that, everything was in order.

This dress had a great look to it, but it didn't fit me very well. This is a dress that I adore; I placed an order for a size XL. I'm 5'7" and this is the perfect length for me. The roses do not appear to be as inexpensive as those mentioned in the previous delivery. They raise their heads slightly because that is how it is supposed to appear. It's stunning for the price. The fabric has a lot of stretch to it. It isn't made of cotton. If I were going to a club, I would order a smaller size, but if I were going to church or work, I would order a larger size.
