Yes, there is some stretch; I wear a 12 and ordered a 10; I'm glad I did because it fits perfectly. You will not be dissatisfied with this dress.
I'd say 10, but it depends on your height and how snug you want it to be, as well as whether or not you're wearing foundation. I'm 5'4", 145 pounds, and 36DDD, and I'm wearing a size 8. It's a little tight around the waist to show off my curves, but that's exactly what I wanted. I hope you find this information useful.
I wouldn't buy anything bigger than an XXL, and that's being generous. particularly if your weight distribution is fairly even from top to bottom.

The dress fits perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality for the low price; I normally wear a size 4 and ordered accordingly. I weigh 124 pounds and stand 5'3". So, order your size, and I'm confident you'll be pleased with the dress and the way it fits.
I'm 5'3" tall and weigh around 140 pounds on most days. 37-inch circumference I got a size 6 and it's perfect for me. The dress is made of a soft but thick material, which is typical of Homeyee dresses. It does not have a cheap appearance or feel to it. The asymmetrical neckline and color blocking elements add a little pizazz to an otherwise simple style. I'll be wearing it to a conference, but it's also appropriate for work or church.

Love it! In this gown, I was accepted as a PhD candidate! I ordered it in September, but it wasn't worn until November. When I first got it, it fit like a glove. The slit in the back was a little high considering my large butt, but it still looked professional with pantyhose. I gained a few pounds while studying for my exam, so it became a little tight, but it was fine overall. I'm 5'7" and 205 pounds, and I ordered a 2XL, which is equivalent to a US size 12.
I ordered a large, size 8, in the red/black color block long sleeve dress based on the sizing chart. 5'7, -,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm 150 pounds, 36 inches tall, and have an average build. While I prefer my work dresses to be loose and comfortable, I prefer them to be bodycon tight. I was able to put it on and take it off without having to unzip the zipper at all. The way this dress fit around the chest/arms was fine, and I loved the neckline, but there was a lot of 'extra' fabric draping in the back, and the dress unattractively ballooned out around the hips. My theory is that if I was more bottom heavy and had the hips and buttocks to fill it out, I wouldn't appear as large. The fabric is slightly thicker than a t-shirt. Shirt appears to be breathable and opaque (at least in the red/black color scheme). I'm not sure if I should size down because another Homeyee dress that I bought in a M (6) was too tight around the chest and arms. I can't seem to get a good sense of my sizing in this brand, despite the fact that the dresses are cute, affordable, and work appropriate.
Since before the pandemic, this is the first dress I've ordered for work. I was really looking forward to wearing this dress to a crucial meeting. I was a little let down. I expected a similar fit to the lady in the product photo because my figure is very similar to hers. Instead, the arms were probably two inches too short (even for 3/4-length sleeves), and the dress was simply too big. Furthermore, the stitching was sloppy, and the black asymmetrical piece that comes down at the bottom of the dress was much smaller and less pronounced than in the picture, resulting in an awkward appearance. I regret wasting my money on this dress. I've been buying clothes on Amazon for years, so I'm used to ordering things without trying them on, but this is one situation where I wish I could try clothes on in stores.
The dress is lovely and fits well. I usually wear a medium size 8, but I ordered a large. The large is very comfortable and fits like a medium.
I was excited when the dress arrived because I needed it for a funeral the next day. However, when I put it on the next day to go to the service, my father informed me that it had a rip up the back. Thankfully, I was wearing good underwear at the time. I had to get the dress patched up and hope there wouldn't be a repeat. I was hoping for a good review but the poor construction was too humiliating.
