Even better, it arrived a week earlier than expected! I'm 5'6" and weigh 200 lbs. as a reference. My body is skinned, and my stomach is hidden. With the gold exposed zipper, I particularly like how it looks from the side and back. Did I mention how the cap sleeves make my arms appear smaller because of the way they drape? I usually wear sleeves or a jacket with this outfit, but I'm not wearing them. This dress is absolutely stunning!.
It fits my hourglass/pear shape perfectly, and the cap sleeves meet conservative dressing requirements (no sleeveless), while still being appropriate for spring/summer. I wear it to work alone or with a cardigan, but it'd also be a great date night dress. Because the neckline dips a little, I wear a low cami underneath for modesty at work. I look and feel like a million dollars in these Calvin Klein pumps.
It was made of a soft material that was not at all revealing. Fit true to size 16, hid all bumps I didn't want to be highlighted (I did wear a body shaper), and was very comfortable.
This dress was bought for a TV game show that I was going to. It appeared to be fantastic. I wore it to my High School reunion, a job interview, and to the theater with a blazer on top! Dress it up or down, it's very adaptable.
Being a plus-size woman makes it difficult to find dresses; I purchased five different styles from Amazon and another four from JCPenney, but only liked this one. It has slimming properties and is extremely comfortable to wear. It was appropriate attire for a funeral, but it's also fashionable enough for social occasions. It was so comfortable that I wore it for the entire day. It's well-lined, so it'll be more comfortable to wear and will last longer.
