I'm 5'9", and the Large hits just below my ankles without dragging on the floor. It's the ideal length for a man.
You can't wear this dress because it's too long for you. You can choose your usual size and cut it down to size.
It's a little more of a knit. The one I got is made of high-quality material. Is made of cotton. It hangs nicely, and I'm sure it'll be very comfortable in the warmer months.
The back of the empire waist is also gathered with fabric. The gown has a lovely a-line silhouette. They have a clean cut and are extremely comfortable. I have the dress in a variety of colors.

As a result, I'm a size B. 46 W: 42 H: This was a perfect fit for me at 39 (I ordered a 2XL). The color is a few shades lighter than shown in the photo (more of a dark violet), and the fabric is a stretchy cotton. It'll be perfect for a bridesmaid dress at my friend's wedding next month, and it arrived just four days after I ordered it! It's so flattering and cute that I'm going to wear it to every formal and semi-formal event until it tears or no longer fits (I'm on a diet).
UPDATED. This dress is absolutely stunning, and I adore it. I ordered a medium because I'm 5'7", 36DD, and 158 lbs, and it fits me perfectly. It looks fantastic on you. I returned to order a medium in a different color, but they were all gone! It's impossible for me to believe. (br>br>It's the ideal blend of modesty and form-fittingness. ) It's not at all "see through," and it's stylish enough that I could wear it to work with a cardigan. I got it for a Shrek-themed party. I dressed up as a dragon for a themed costume party. I bought the large because I'm a solid size 14. It was a perfect fit and a great deal of fun to wear.

This dress fits perfectly; I am very busty, so the empire waist banding disappears beneath my breasts. The neckline is higher than expected, with no visible cleavage, and the wide straps cover my bra completely; the length is just right, skimming just above the floor (I'm 5'8"). The fabric is light and airy, but not see-through. My only complaint is that there are no pockets; however, I plan to buy this dress in a few more colors because it is suitable for both work and an evening out.
