I'm 5'3", 200 lbs, and 40C, and I can fit into an XL, but it's a tight fit over my boobs. The 2XL is my preferred size. I've bought seven of these dresses so far, and they're all the right length for me. Before washing, they barely swept the floor. They come up to the tops of my feet after washing and drying in the dryer, so there's about a one-inch shrinkage. Because they're mostly made of Rayon and Spandex, you could probably avoid this by letting them air dry.
I responded by returning it. I weigh 185 pounds and stand 5'5" tall. The food was not made for me; it was a little too big and loose in the top and around the stomach area, which is an issue for me. It made my pouch look a little too exposed.

It's a lovely dress, but it will have to be returned. br>My height is 5'9" and my weight is approximately 210 pounds. I usually wear a size L top and a size 16 bottom. Based on what I read in the comments, I chose a size XL. The gown was a perfect fit. br>The empire waist had little give, but it fit perfectly. The fabric was thick and appeared to be of good quality. I chose navy, but it appeared to be more gray/royal blue in person. br>Unfortunately, I'll have to return it because it's not a maxi dress for my height. It landed 3 to 4 inches above my ankle, which was an awkward landing. I would still recommend this dress to anyone who is 5'7" or shorter, but not to us tall ladies.
I enjoy reading detailed product reviews because I frequently find myself in between sizes. I'm 5'8, 150 lbs, 36C bust, and usually wear a size 6 in dresses, so sizing up a size was the best option in this case. My build is similar to that of a swimmer (broad shoulders, narrow hips). The small had a tight fit around the rib cage and shoulders. It was also a little shorter than I prefer for a maxi dress with a lot of movement. The medium fits me better, but the empire roushing could be taken in 1/4' to 1/2'. I won't go to that trouble because it's more comfortable when it's a little looser. This is just to give you an idea of what I've gone through. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and soft. Because the neckline is so low on me and I prefer a more conservative look, I had to pin/sew it. Pockets are an excellent invention. It's versatile in terms of how it's dressed. It does, however, remind me of a choir dress without any additional accessories, so I believe it requires some. The goal remains to be cute and comfortable.

This dress was perfect for autumn photos. I ordered a medium and the length was perfect. My height is 5'5", my weight is 155 pounds, and my dress size is 38DD. It has a good amount of stretch and is very comfortable. It is made of a light, stretchy fabric that is not see-through. It's something I highly recommend!.
Medium would have sufficed; I am 5'6", 155 lbs, with a larger upper body (particularly the chest - see photo).
