It goes about 3/4 down my leg, a bit longer than the model in the picture. I'm 5'2" and it falls about halfway down my leg. Combined with over the knee boots, it looked great. This cute, sexy dress would look good with leggings in the fall/winter. It is definitely short, but the length could be adjusted with tights.
The length of the story is best described as medium. My height of 4'11" made the small appear a tad short, and I often was forced to pull it down.

This is a for reference only, I got the XL (fits plus size) will look good on the bottom, but it won't take well on the My recommendation for the XL is a 16/18 top. In terms of measurements, both dresses are pretty much the same. The other dress I got from the other seller is larger and looser in the top, which means you will not have to cut the straps on the back of this dress, as others have had to.
