To wear over a dress I am wearing to a wedding, I ordered this coat While it fit me for that occasion, I can't button it over a bulky sweater if I need to wear it over one. Despite wearing a size smaller than my normal size, I ordered it two sizes bigger. Had I ordered four sizes larger, I would have been more comfortable. I would have liked a bigger size for the coat, but it is beautiful.

I love this coat because it's so heavy and beautiful! The book has become a family favorite for my mother. It runs true to size on my 5'7" and 210 pound daughter. Some have said that it runs small, but I found it to run true to size. It was still a bit loose after ordering a size 18 so that she will have room to wear sweaters.

It has a long coat that is about the length of a calf. The black color is what I ordered. As soon as I came out of the plastic bag, the coat looked good, smelled new, and was in good condition. Having read the reviews, I decided to order a 24-watt version instead of my usual 18W/20W. Exactly what I was looking for in the fit was a looser fit around the chest area. This dress has a lot of room in the waist and hips. My sweater fit comfortably over the shirt and I have plenty I take pride in wearing a roomier fit, though a 22W could have been just as comfortable for me. A metallic lustre complements the antique look of the buttons without being too exaggerated. I definitely recommend this coat.
