In this case, I ordered the same size, but in XL, and it fits perfectly. This shirt has plenty of room underneath for a heavy sweater while still being able to button it up. Generally I wear a medium in a 145 lb size, a 36C bust, and a 36D waist. It's soft and warm without being too hot as it's not meant for very cold weather since you have to layer it heavily. However, even though the material is fluffy it is still quite thin and would not really be suitable for anything below 30. It has been perfect for slightly cooler evenings.
The buttons on the front are faux buttons, but it does close with snap buttons on the front that are kind of hidden. That it covers my bottom and has deep pockets makes it all the more appealing to me. Color is pretty true to pictures here it has a nice caramel cocoa color, which is different from anything else I have, so that's nice. I highly recommend it as a phenomenal value for a quality coat at such a low price point. My second day after getting it I have already been complimented on it because it is so on trend this season. The Sugar Poison makes me very happy, and I am definitely going to get more of it.
Originally, I ordered a small, and you don't need to wear a bulkier shirt underneath if you don't want to wear one. I ordered a medium because the sleeves were a little short for my liking. In my attached photographs, you can see what I ordered in the medium. Unlike other jackets, it goes just past my buttocks and has pockets that have fabric inside to keep it warm. In terms of the color, I liked it quite a bit. A lightweight coat like this won't keep you warm in the Winter in a cold place, but looks stylish in a nice light jacket you can wear in the fall or winter.
I can't believe I found it. In tops, I normally wear large, and this is a good fit. The oversized look is cute with just a little extra room. I find the quality of this coat to be great for the price, definitely better than many of the other jackets around this price range I have tried on Amazon. The interior of the jacket is relatively warm, since I live in California, where the winters aren't exactly cold however, given its upcoming use during the fall/winter months, I can already tell it would be a good buy!.
This black 2X in style is what I bought. This coat is wonderful! I love it very much. The jacket fits perfectly and is very warm, something I didn't expect. It is warm enough to meet the cold mornings and nights of Southern California, but not too warm for wearing inside. I haven't worn it over a heavy sweater, so this has not been a problem. As much as I love the lighter weight shirts, I don't know how it would fit. Despite its softness and great look, it is so comfortable. It has gotten a lot of compliments. It would be great to buy another one!.
It was surprising that this jacket, which is lightweight, allowed me to remain cool when tested in weather of 50 degrees for a few minutes. It was too small as soon as I put my arm through it then I crossed my back & it looked as if it weren't going to fit There is no way it could I was afraid going up a size would look too bulky due to the fabric's lack of stretch. Since I dress like a grizzly bear, my husband said I looked like a grizzly bear. I love it. This is a fair price, in my opinion.
