I am not that big, so if needed I would hold it closed if it fell off me. I could have just hooked it closed if you want, but it just kind of fell off me.
It can be closed with a hook, if you wish. I was very pleased with the one they sent me. My first black one was awful, so I purchased another from another company.

The flapper evening gown I wore was burgundy with a black sequin overlay. I wore a white faux fur stole with it. My office Christmas party and the Gatsby Party in NYC were both occasions for wearing this gown. The compliments came in thick and fast. You can wear it with anything and it's a beautiful addition. It immediately brings it up a notch.
