The wood pokes your ear, which makes them uncomfortable to wear. These, however, Since I got them, I've had them in almost every day, with proper cleaning. It's still enjoyable. In the ear, it's very comfortable!.

They appear to be nice, buttttttttttttttttttttttttt So, don't get me wrong, I like these gauges, but getting them in was a pain in the neck

My ears were sore for about an hour after they were put in, and then sensitive for the rest of the day. Even with the addition of oil, it was still difficult. Surprisingly, getting them out was not a problem. I believe the problem is due to the ends being significantly larger than the gauge size (I understand that ends are always larger, but these were excessive).
