In short, yes. In addition to badminton, I also play pickleball with them.
In my opinion, they work great for running but not for other sports. For example, volley ball, handball, basketball, and other sports that involve balls, as well as for other athletics as well. These same sole designs have been used in tennis models as well. Smooth soles are used for the sports that I mentioned.

It feels great, I bought them bigger than my actual size so I have a lot of room, and I'm very happy with the results I've also talked to my pickleball friends about how they feel when they wear them.
I noticed immediately that the toes of the shoes were all scuffed up when my daughter wore them to volleyball practice. It would be nice if these lasted until the end of.
The second set I bought did not occur to me before I bought them, but I like them so they will stay. The shoes don't show any wear after playing pickleball in them for a while. Having spent most of my time outside, these shoes have been very comfortable for me.
It is inaccurate to state that the product description claims that they fit true to size, so I gave it only two stars. My second pair of these shoes is on its way. Nonetheless, this new pair was too small, even though the other two were the same size, 8 1/2. ASICS has changed only the sizing. I am returning them for one half size larger in hopes that is all that they have As a result of the first pair being great, I got another pair! The toe side of the sole of my shoe was worn through while.
My daughter wore them for school volleyball and she found them comfortable and easy to clean!.
My favorite part of the shoe is the heel. In the toe area, it is a little narrow and I have a bunion so it would have been nice to have a bit more room. Except for that, the price was fair, the material looked good, the support was good, and pickleball would be a fun game on it.
I can't say enough good things about it. The size 42 on the European scale is my size. As a rule, I buy Reebok size 10 sneakers because I hate tight kicks. In order to buy 9 I had to take a risk. Since I wanted to work out indoors on a wooden floor, rather than just take a walk in them, I gave them five out of five points. Exactly as they should be. It is a pair of really awesome shoes that are very supportive. It does not have black rubber on the sole so it will not mark wood floors.
Several months ago, I bought my daughter a pair of court shoes. We got a size 7 for her since summer is still young. She wears a 6 1/2 currently, but we went up a size to start with. We got them on with cramping pressure at the forefoot after grappling with them for some time with her and with me assisting her. It was at least a 1/2 clearance between the tip of her great toe and the edge of No other brand of footwear has ever been too narrow for us.
