Because I've been a Nike customer for years and years, natural that was my first choice when searching for a new pair of running shoes. However, Nikes appear horribly ugly these days, so I turned to a different brand. I decided to give these a try since they had good reviews. Those shoes are really great. They are comfortable right out of the box and have a wider toe box than Nike's. I'm sure they will loosen up a bit after you wear them, so selecting a half-size bigger than your normal size will probably work just fine. The shoes feel tight upon first fitting, but once they are on they are comfortable so I'm sure they will loosen up. They are definitely summer shoes, I put them on and then walked my dogs out in the yard and they blew right through. Now that I own them, they are my favorite running shoes. I have used Asic Gel shoes for the last few years due to the pain I was experiencing from shin splints they work great.
