Questions & Answers

Are these suitable for feet with high arches and narrow, skinny feet? The toe box of today's shoes is typically quite large. Thanks! ?

I am a size ten. Athletic shoes should be 5N or 11N, while other/dress/casual shoes should be 10N. These were only available in medium width, but after reading the reviews, we decided to order ten more. 5B and have proven to be extremely beneficial to me. For plantar f, I removed the insole and replaced it with custom orthotics. After more than a year of treatment and extreme caution about what shoes I wore, my condition has finally improved. Today, I returned to the job site to see about replacing the first pair of these, which had performed admirably. I also have a pair of 11N Asics that worked well. Always wore New Balance narrows, but switched after having trouble finding narrows and having foot problems. My arches are also quite high, and my feet are quite narrow. I'd also like to see more shoes in sizes 10 and up. The 11's are frequently too large, so a 5 is the best option. These were successful.

C/d size?

The women's size (8) is comfortable and fits well. Men's (9. 5) was chosen as a broad option. The shoe's support is firm and noticeable. Order wide if you want more room; it's a little tight across the top. The close quarters feel is due to the good trail stability.

Is it suitable for hiking? I'm going to the Grand Canyon and would like to wear something that is both comfortable and stylish. ?

Hiking is a breeze! This shoe, in my opinion, is out of date (i.e. Although this model is no longer manufactured, I continue to look for new ones on Amazon, where I can always find one in my size. IN ANY CASE, WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO HIKE? YES, YES, YES, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes I used some lightweight hiking boots to prepare for a 5-day hike in the Grand Canyon, but I ended up bringing my Gel Venture 5s with me and wearing them the entire time! I did order a 1/2 size larger because the most difficult part of our hike was 10 miles down into the Canyon, and I needed the extra room in my toes. I also laced them up tight to prevent the extra 1/2 inch from shifting. and they were incredible. Good traction and grip, as well as all-day comfort. This book comes highly recommended. In the last few years, I've probably had 5 pairs of these. Hiking, walking, jogging, running, and working are all examples of activities that can be done outdoors. Whatever! These will keep your feet happy for a long time.

What do the letters beside the sizes indicate?

Wide width is denoted by the letters C/d. The letter A is quite small. E is a very large letter.

Selected User Reviews For ASICS Women's GEL-Venture 5 Running Shoe

I've purchased four different styles of Asics running shoes, and these are my favorites! My selling points for determining that these are the best are: I've bought four styles of Asics running shoes in the last three years, and these are my favorites!br>br>My selling points for determining that these are "good" sneakers are as follows:
1
5/5

) Toe Room - When I don't have enough room in my toe box, my toes become numb. When I wear a 9 or 9, I order a size 10 and tighten the laces to accommodate. 5) in a pair of regular shoes Because my shoes side around a little, they wear out faster in the heels, but my toes don't get numb after my daily 4 mile trail hike. br>2. ) Convenience - Arch support and overall cushioning are included in this. Because I have bad knees, I can tell when a pair of sneakers' cushioning is wearing out. Mine lasted almost three months when I wore them for four miles every day.
3. Cuteness is one of the most important aspects of a person's personality. Sorry for being vain, but I want my sneakers to be cute and pink. These are the only ones I purchase. If you have to pass judgment on me, go ahead. )
4. ) Simple to wear and remove - I despise untying my shoes, so I appreciate the back loop, which allows me to slip them on with minimal unlacing (lazy).
5. (Isn't it true that cake-making is a form of art? buried in mud/dirt - When I'm on loose dirt trails, I frequently come across dirt. I prefer Asics to, say, K-Swiss because of the mud that gets caked into my soles. Because there are few "hiding places" for mud to pack into the soles, they are Swiss. br>br>I made the following comparisons: br>ASICS Gel-Lite Running Shoe for Women 5th Venture - My all-time favorite for toe space, cushion, and arch support, and it lasts a long time. br>ASICS Gel-Lite Running Shoe for Women 3 - Dispute The arch is wider, while the toes and heels are narrower. br>ASICS Gel-Lite Running Shoe for Women scram 2 - Although there is plenty of toe room, there isn't much in the way of arch support (super-short). Even so, it's adorable! )br>ASICS Gel Frequency 2 - Women's ASICS Gel Frequency 2 - Women's ASICS Gel Frequency 2 - Women's ASICS It's actually a walking shoe, and it's built much less "tough" and more lightweight, but it has a flimsy feel to it and comes up short against the back of the heel, so it fits oddly. br>br>When I say these shoes "wear well," I mean that they don't look like they're falling apart after a lot of use/wear. The only signs of wear are some fraying where the inner fabric (pink) meets the lace holes and some wear on the inside of the heels, which is probably due to the fact that I wear a half size too big on purpose. (See photos)br>br>Overall, I prefer these shoes to any other Asics, Adidas, Saucony, Vibram, or K-Swiss shoes I've tried. Swiss and will not deviate from their Gel-based diet. Return to the Venture 5 shoes. I adore them, and I can't think of a better way to describe them:.

However, they are good shoes
3/5

For a variety of reasons, I found it difficult to decide how to rate this product. Let me start with the aspects of these shoes that I adore.
1. I like the variety of colorsbr>2. Exceptionally comfortable and supportive of the archbr>3. They aren't too tight around the toes or ankles. br>I chose the purple and silver outlined ones because the colors complement each other well and are vibrant enough to avoid being boring or overwhelming. br>These shoes give my medium arches and heels just the right amount of arch support. While running, walking, or cycling, the material allows for enough movement so that your feet do not feel stiff or have limited motion in the shoe. br>There's enough room for your toes to wiggle without losing circulation, and I haven't had any issues with the show rubbing against the back of my heels so far. (I also wear altheletic socks with heel tabs, so that's probably a big factor. )br>br>My biggest issue with these shoes is that they offer no support when the ground is wet. When I wear these and walk across tile or laminate floors, I'm constantly slipping and nearly falling. In all honesty, if I had known these had zero slip resistance, I would have chosen a different shoe because my current budget only allows me to spend $50-$100 on shoes. 60 dollars is a lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes that I'm going to hurt myself in. br>br>Overall, these shoes are very attractive and provide good arch and heel support, as well as being made of good materials, but they are not slip resistant. If you don't mind wearing very cute but slick shoes, go for it. If you're like me and want some sort of slip resistance in your running shoe, I recommend doing some research on better slip resistance shoes, especially since they're more expensive.

High-arched and wide-footed people should wear athletic shoes
5/5

Asics are the best athletic shoes I've found for my type of feet because I have high arches and wide feet. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who has the same foot type as me.

The shoes are fantastic
5/5

My new shoes are fantastic! They're very supportive, especially around the ankles, but there's still enough room in the toes for comfort even when walking downhill. Even after a workout, these are comfortable shoes to wear all day. I pair them with a pair of light-weight socks. My shoes are usually a size 8 in most cases. 5 to 9; This pair of shoes is a size 9.

This book comes highly recommended
5/5

It's easy to wear and adaptable. I'm a nurse who only wears ASICS sneakers. When I went to my foot doctor because of swelling in one foot (which turned out to be arthritis from a broken foot as a teenager), he recommended ASICS. They're worn by a lot of my coworkers. 12- 16-hour shifts on your feet are no fun, but these shoes make my feet feel great, and I'm nearing 60 years old and have worked as a nurse for over 30 years. I'll keep buying them and recommending them to my friends.

I would strongly suggest it
5/5

These shoes are absolutely stunning. Due to factitious planters, fallen arches, and numerous screws in my ankle, I am also difficult to please. Beautifully designed shoe with excellent arch support. They make me happy to look at and wear, and the photo does not do them justice. They're only worn for working out, but they're fantastic! Also, a fantastic price!.

Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition that affects the bottom of the foot
5/5

These shoes have excellent arch support, and I adore them. These are very comfortable and don't hurt my feet at all, even though I have plantar fasciitis.
