Having worn these boots, I would not recommend going down a size as they fit small.

That's not at all the case! It's impossible for me to wear these, as I'm 5'9 with very wide and muscular calves, and they fit The boots are exactly the same as mine, and I've owned them for 5 years or so. I bought a new pair of them just a couple of months ago. These cheap boots are my saviors!

Can they give you an idea of their height?

I have shorts that go up to my knees, but they do not cover the knees. As shown, the outside of the building is slightly higher than the inside. With a height of 5'4", I am average length.

These are true to size, however they are a little too delicate for everyday riding. But for the price they are usable for schooling shows.

My favorite part about these boots is their style. often have a hard time finding boots that fit comfortably on my calf and these are perfect. I have owned my first pair for about 2 years/riding twice a week without any issues. They look like leather, and they do not wear out. In other words, they don't last for ever. The only boots that don't fit me (and I'm very rough on my shoes). This is a highly recommended product. It would be great if there were a dressage version of the game.
