Questions & Answers

What are the pros and cons of these boots for dressage and jumping?

As long as they fit well, I would assume they will. These jeans did not fit for me because the ankle was too tight and the height was too short for me. I measure 19" from behind my knee and 20" from top to bottom. I apologize, but I don't think this boot is for me. For the price, I think they are a great boot.

The definition of used is I use something. ?

A used item means it has been used before I buy it from the seller.

The boots are a size 10 calf. What's the size of the calf?

In my case, I ordered a size 9 and a regular calf size. The size wide fits me like a glove, but these are a little narrow. Since they are inexpensive and look good, I love them. In addition to schooling, hunting, and showing, I also use them for hunting. Those exposed to rough handling will last for about three years. I found the leather very soft and there were no signs of wear after a few weeks. The reason I buy them is because they are so good! In the past few years, I've bought two or three pairs. Their products will never let you down.

I find them comparable to my 900 dollar custom boots in terms of fit and softness
5/5

A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for half chaps in a tack shop. As I walked past a boot display, I touched a pair of tuffrider boots and was surprised at how soft they were. As such, I put them on, anticipating that they would fit like a glove and that Tuffrider would be the brand. My calves are a bit wider than my ankles so I have a tricky time getting an ideal fit to my After I zipped them up and tried them on, I realized they seemed custom-made for me (the pair I got at the tack shop were field boots). The height and weight of this person are about 5'2" and 160 lbs. There was a little bit of drop with use due to the height. After falling in love with them, I searched online for another pair, but all I could find was Therefore, I bought these and they fitted perfectly as well. It was surprising to see how well two so different styles fit together. I have only owned them for a month, so I do not know what life expectancy of the shoes is, but so far they seem like new even after a few rides and walks in the arena. I bought the regular calf leather, which is butter soft but extremely supportive. Even though it's a little snug, I can zip it up over skinny Jeans or breeches with no problem.

The calf is very large
4/5

My plan was to purchase these boots for riding at home as a backup pair so I could extend the life of my regular This is my first experience with a knockoff of Parlanti boots and they appear to resemble the brand, yet the materials are somewhat cheap (though real leather is used). Even so, these boots look flashy and are excellent for the price BUT not only are they big in the calf but they're also huge (I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs and the calf measurement is I ordered the Slim but they seem to be quite loose on me. I can fully zip them while able to get my whole hand into the outside. The boots are too big for me, so I am going back for an XSlim, which means they will not work for someone with very slender calves and to someone my height. As far as the shoe size goes, the shoe length is true to size. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up on the bike, since many reviewers have encountered Although mine zipped up easily, maybe they were just so loose that they did. I may switch to the Tuffrider regal line which has square toes as the toes on the round-toe line look somewhat silly to me.

Boots work out of the box perfectly and are very comfortable to ride
5/5

It measures 9 inches across. For me, the 5 is more like a 9 and I was able to fit that. Boots like these are my favorite. The TuffRider piaff boots came in and I could not zip them up, so I ordered these boots as an emergency. Prime arranged for them to send them to me before I left for the show on the Friday after they arrived. I literally had to travel 4 hours to try these boots on. They came down our drive, got loaded onto the trailer, and got unloaded. I love how the socks came right out of the package, They fit perfectly, and they zip I went down centerline the next day in a second level test on the young stallion without a second thought about my boots. There are nine of them. It occupies a space less than 5 feet, but I like that as it's more the size I was after in a hotel but I could not pick one. A pair of regular calf socks will be ordered for me because after an injury one calf was bigger and the smaller one had some scrunching - but they still look and feel amazing. Another thing I would like to point out is that this seller is outstanding. Their customer service is excellent and they have quite a few things I like about them.

I really like these boots, however they are on the heavier side
4/5

They are very nice boots though. The only complaint I have is there is a lot of room for calves. In my case, I measured my calves according to TuffRider's sizing chat. My shoe size is 8, which is regular width, and 5 inches is Regular. It seemed that they would be loose in the calf area even with breeches and socks on. I will leave them for my everyday riding, and later purchase another pair of TuffRiders in a different style to show in. The quality is superb and the price is excellent.

Those who keep
4/5

As I received these boots, they were quite tight around the ankle and calf, but after wearing them around the house for a few short 15 minute stints, I think they will ultimately be comfortable for me. These boots have quite a bit of ankle support which I need and like, and the leather is thin but good quality, almost like a half chap boot the boots have a very comfortable feel to them. As far as I can tell, these boots wouldn't be classed as a "dress boot" much since they are too structured and the leather is pebbled, but I will keep them because I think they would be helpful in a.

As soon as I tried it, I saw that it had beautiful lines and a classic look
4/5

As a result. The reason why I am not giving this product 5 stars is that I just received them yesterday and therefore have not ridden in them yet. My immediate reaction was to feel how soft the simulated leather really is as soon as I took them out of the box. The leather here doesn't appear to be 100 percent genuine. If it is, then it is a very thin piece of the hide, so I am worried a little about wear and tear. In any case, they are soft, the boot has beautiful lines, a classic look, and when I tried them on, I was surprised at how much room they had. I will be showing them in two weeks in these breeches so looking forward to how they perform. The calf and ankle areas are a little on the large side but if I wear actual breeches instead of riding tights, they should look fine. My Ariat Heritage boots will actually be replaced by these, so I have high hopes for them. However, for the price, these are hard to beat. TuffRider winter boots have been in my possession for years and I never want to replace.

The seat is super This was a great deal on boots for schooling from Amazon Warehouse
5/5

I needed some comfortable and affordable boots, and I got them for a great price. It was 100% comfortable right out of the box. They did not need to be broken in. I walked and rode in them today without a single complaint. Other reviews have mentioned that the calves can be big. I suggest sizing down in calf size. Ariat tall boots usually fit me like a regular calves, but these fit perfectly like a slim calves. It fits like a glove. The leather is soft and grippy, and the boots look good. I made it.

A year after it was installed, the zipper broke
3/5

I immediately broke the zipper on a new pair. A zipper that had been in the closet for one year broke. It's a shame as they are nice boots for the price. I ordered a new pair and the zipper broke when.
