A size Large fit me nicely based on the size chart because I am 5'11". It was just the bottom of my knee that was hit.

The clothing is tight (hard to zip), but it is not worth returning for a larger size. It seems almost like these are children's sizes and I was shocked by the sizing. Could also be that my calves are just abnormally big Despite their relatively low price, they seem to be quality products.

My calves (16") are quite large when I wear jeans

I ordered the large to help accommodate this. The zips zipped up snugly but did not cause discomfort, and the shoes look fantastic. If you wear heavy pants under these chaps, they will be great for those with larger calves and/or a larger leg. Other half chap brands run so small that I would never have a chance to fit into even an XL, but with this brand I had no such problem.

The lower half of the chaps is fine

I am 5'2" and the length of the jacket is slightly too long for my legs by maybe an inch, meaning that it digs into my knees a bit while riding. The zipper sometimes sticks but overall no major complaints.

It has good zips, a snug fit, and a heavy duty elastic strap under the paddock boot that looks like a nice full boot from a distance.

Material with a low price

It used to be easy to find an awesome half chap made by Ovation that had weight and was just really nice for the price. I am disappointed with what they are selling So far I have not ridden in them, but I guess it is sort of disappointing, I guess. There is no texture to the material and it feels.
