It looks exactly like the picture. This necklace does come with a thin chain, but I wear this one only. There is a real gold-like glow to this necklace. On the picture you can see how the chain compares with my wedding bands, which are made of real yellow gold. This is what I wear every day and I haven't taken it off in about a week. It's a 5 out of 5 for this ankle bracelet set Due to their reasonable price, I assumed they would be cheap and cheesy, but was I ever wrong. I have clearly not shower or swim with the bracelets on due to the likelihood they would turn colors, since they are clearly not real gold for under $10. I will definitely be purchasing a silver set of these when it becomes available as I appreciate how inexpensive they are. I recommend these as anklet jewelry very highly.
