I'm 5'9" and weigh 165 pounds with a 38" bust, so I ordered the XXL. My guess would be that it is indeed cut small, or maybe it would not fit me, as I usually wear L or XL, but an XXL would be more suitable. It works for me to order one size larger than the model in the picture since I don't like tight jackets or fitted ones like the model in the picture. I have a bit of extra room at the bottom to wear layers comfortably under it, so it's not baggy. of this top hits right at my hip levels and the sleeves are long (just below my wrist). The jacket is of high quality, and it looks fantastic with the pants that match. The price is great, and the product is a great buy.
In my size medium I weigh 125 pounds and I am 5'3 inches tall, though I was going to go for a small, but I am glad I didn't because the medium fits perfect and I think the small would have been uncomfortable.

Despite being 5'1 I ordered a large to avoid it looking tighter and it fits perfectly, isn't baggy at all and I really like the look. It is not waterproof, but it keeps me warm and dry during runs. I wear small and it fits In fact, I got another one after running a couple of times with the first one. This jacket appears a little longer than some of the Adidas' Originals track jackets I purchased online from Adidas' website - which I kind of like is that I have a long torso. There is a slight difference in design in my opinion, but it may just be my imagination. I would definitely recommend this jacket in any case.
It was a little difficult to compare sizes at Macy's, but I didn't give up. The jacket is awesome, the material and construction are authentic, and the fit and color are perfect. Normally I wear a size L in women's tops, but brand names have a tendency to run smaller, and I have a lot of boobs that tend to get in the way. Hence, I got a larger size than I would have normally, but it doesn't appear to be much different from the small. I just want to be more comfortable. If it came in white with black stripes, I'd go for it again. If it matches the classic adidas superstar (white with black trim), then that would be perfect. With my adidas cloudfoam running shoes I received the matching black track jacket with white stripes. A black and white pattern (trimmed with white).
The picture shows me as a 5'4", 208lb, 38B curvy girl. XL is the size I purchased. There was a chance that I would have gotten a L in the pants & The jacket does not have a low ride. Wearing an XL with a t-shirt under the jacket or an XXL with a long sleeved shirt underneath. I found that going up a size in the jacket was necessary if you have big arms.
