I find it to be pretty true to size. This sport does run a little bit longer than other similar sports from a variety of brands (athleta, lululemon).
All of these Sketcher Skorts measure between 17" and 18". I have a couple of them in various colors and all have a different length. There are 5" from the top of the waistband to the bottom hem of the jeans. This is a fantastic pair of skorts, and I recommend them highly. These images make the skorts appear shorter than they actually are, as you can clearly see from the picture. Designed to fall slightly above the knee, they are definitely modest in length.

I like the color and pattern. The woman I am, who has realized that outside of fitness I am not comfortable in shorts, is one of a certain age. Sports are the solution, and this one is nice enough to wear out and about and is also comfy enough to chase after dogs/kids, whatever the case may be. In the future, I may also be able to go eating in it once the plague has ended.
It's a huge hit and has a cool color and is comfortable, breathable, and fits perfectly. I haven't worn this skort for a while but I love it so much that I ordered three more in different colors. I paid $10 more each than this one, so they must be very popular. Not only does it feel soft, but it is also sturdy. My favorite part is how nicely it covers my curves and hangs. Furthermore, the woven shorts are made of an excellent material that breathes well and doesn't ride up. It is also nice to see the deep pockets placed in a roomy area. As well as washing and drying well, these are durable. Don't hesistate to call. The skort will be a hit for you no matter what style you choose - buy several to enjoy long-term.
I liked it a lot. There was more to come. Getting your hands on one of these is difficult. The medium fits me perfectly (I'm 5'5" and 140 lbs with a muscular build). Comparing my athletic thighs to my waist, I have a small waist. Things that work for both are hard to come by! Would like to see more colors available for this- I ordered a second one in black as well. Exactly the right amount of spandex is used to keep the fabric in place and provide a strong fit, while the shorts legs stay in place during wear.
I was able to fit right in. This was a Stitch Fix "fix," but in size large, so it was too large. (Berry color) A Stitch Fix "fix" delivered this, but As the smalls were sold out, I was unable to exchange for them. It's here on Amazon and I got it in light blue since it goes with a lot in my closet, but both colors are lovely. The outside pocket is perfect for my cell phone. The body is not bulky in any way.
It was way too big for the medium, so I ordered a small. Most of the time, I am between a small and medium. Skorts with longer pants and shorts underneath aren't my favorite, but I like the external hand pockets so I keep.
My favorite part of the set is the length of the shorts under them, and how comfortable they are. My purchase was actually followed by two more, this time in different colors. Wear this garment if you want to look good.
In the inner shorts, the thread used on the hem was scratchy and caused the leg to be tight and uncomfortable. An itchy feeling. Despite having multiple skorts from various manufacturers, these are the most uncomfortable ones I have ever owned. It was necessary that they return.
The shirt is comfortable, has a nice design, and has two pockets large enough to hold a cellular telephone. The five colors I own now each have their own special characteristics.
