This is the most I've weighed since high school (I'm now 63), and I needed something to pack for a three-week cruise. The style is excellent, and they have the appearance of a skirt without the risk of showing through when sitting. I've tried other Lee shorts and skorts, and they all run big on me. Unfortunately, this brand does not offer a size 0; however, any similar Lee items should be sized down. I've also been having trouble finding shorts that will fit me at this weight and will also fit me as I lose weight (I should be around 95 pounds) and can fit into my other pants, etc. For anyone interested, I've been trying to find Levi shorts and have discovered that I can fit in their size 0, 2, or 4 - Each style is designed to fit a specific body type. I would recommend trying on different sizes and returning the ones that don't fit. These come in a variety of colors, and I purchased the Geranium color (just to have something other than denim colored ones). I deducted one star due to the sizing issue!.
For starters, other people's reviews helped me choose the right size. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts. It was pretty much what I had expected, especially the skort. I found them to be true to size, though the back of the pants occasionally rides up, causing a bulge just below the waist; I'm not sure why this happens, but it's easily fixed by pulling the back down. Until the next time it occurs, that is.
I live in a hot climate and don't like skorts made of heavy polyester or any other synthetic material This one is 98% cotton which is perfect, lightweight and feels amazing The skort is made of nylon or spandex on the inside, which is fine and not too tight. I like how it fits (I'm 5'8", 125 lbs, size 6) and how long it is. I just went out and bought everything in every color: ) Because I don't want it to shrink, I'm going to wash it in cold water.
I've got it in geranium now, and I've just placed an order for the alloy. I appreciate it when people provide their measurements because it aids in sizing, so I am 5'1" and weigh 155 pounds, and the size 10 regular fits me perfectly. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE SEENING. It came with brown shorts underneath the white skirt, which made it appear as if you were wearing a girdle in the daytime. Sure, that's the look I'm going for. I was very disappointed because I had seen many advertisements for skorts and chose this one because I trusted the LEE name. NOPE, I guess you won't be able to do that!.
Perfect! I bought a more expensive product that was very similar on LE and it worked perfectly. These are mid-thigh length with a mesh type inner lining that matches the color of the exterior. Deep pockets allow you to comfortably hold your iPhone 7s. Because it was a flattering fit, I purchased all of the colors.
Both the black and white versions were ordered. They are both well-matched. The black one looks great, and the shorts are black, making them ideal for wearing as a skort while exercising outdoors. The fabric on the white one was thin, and the fabric around the zipper created a huge U shape in the middle of the skirt; the "shorts" were tan, not white, and the skort could only be worn as a skirt with a huge U shape in the front. br>The black one is my personal favorite. br>I'm returning the white one and don't think it's a good idea. The white one even had a stain on it when it arrived.
It was purchased in preparation for my most recent trip. I wanted a sporty skirt look but didn't want to have to worry about adjusting it when I sat down. This was ideal, with stretchy but comfortable shorts on the inside. The black one was the one I chose because it matched everything. It was both comfortable and fashionable. The quality of the material is excellent. For the next trip, I will purchase additional colors.
