I am on the high side of Medium in my measurements. I was planning on ordering an XL size since I read reviews that said these tended to run small. Despite that, I backed off and bought a size L after seeing some reviews that said they run large. I had to rip the waist stitching on the L after trying it on. It is very tight at the waist. I tossed the shorts after tearing them and ordered a size up. They fit just fine. To me, it seems to depend on shape rather than measurements whether to buy a large or small.

A normal size XL is perfect for me, and I normally wear an XL in most things. I am 5'8" and weigh 210 pounds. I like the short skirt length for a cute short skirt without showing too much. There is actually a lot of room for comfort in this skirt. There is just the right length between the shorts and the wearer's leg to The skirt is flattering, but I didn't see as much "tummy control" in this as I had thought there I find this length to be ideal. My height is 5'4", and my waist is 27/28" and my hips are 38/39". I have a mommy poodle I've been working on for years. If I wanted to buy a small (my leggings are usually size small), I could have done so. As I continue to lose weight, I have finally reached that "shmedium" size. It is unlikely that the undershirt will fit you well if your thighs are more muscular, so I recommend taking a size up instead of the normal size and either using a drawstring to adjust the waist or tucking in the hems of the legs.
