I'm a size 24 and ordered this to combat chubby rub. They are completely opaque, which is a pleasant surprise! The material is cotton and not the slick material that athletic wear is typically made from. As far as I can tell, they do not roll up at all while I'm I do think they are a lighter shade of black than they appear in the picture, so it's not a big deal.
These biker shorts (they're trending at the moment) are perfect for that. Nothing too hot or constricting is my entire mood this summer. As a matter of fact, I went back to last year's orders The quality and color of the two products are vastly different. Last time I ordered the shorts were very black and this time they were more like a dark grey color. I ordered black last time and they were very black this time. First pair I bought a year ago were 2X and this latest pair is 1X, though noticeably larger, but it bears mentioning that I've had the first pair for almost a year now, and they stayed black despite being washed and dried repeatedly. From the ones I purchased last year to the ones I received recently, there is definitely a difference in companies. In my humble opinion, it is a better fit and a good purchase. There's just not as much black as I expected, but this is really not a big deal. Looking at my photos, you will see that the shorts on the left are a year old, and the shorts on the right are new.
