In the past, I had one of these I bought elsewhere that my grandson dropped, and it also didn't stay closed. It is common for things to break when dropped. This didn't deter me from purchasing it. My favorite part of this item is the packaging.

Three and a quarter inches by four and a quarter has 7 rows of card slots that open accordian style and can hold 7 at a time. In addition to the seven credit cards, I can fit a few business cards and my driver's license. I love the luster of the case, and I think it's well made and durable. This is awesome!
It has 9 plastic credit and membership cards that I carry all the time, along with my thinner plastic health insurance card, as well as my plastic driver's license and paper car insurance cards. I can close it fine. Just make sure all the items are pushed to the bottom of the slot.

Sometimes I wonder whether I will ever be able to fill it up to the top! At the present, the answer is no.
