Our lenses' light transmission is 16%- 18 If you are looking for extremely dark lenses, you must look for lenses with light transmission less than 10%. br>In addition, the polarized lenses will block out additional light from glare and bright sunlight (in an outdoor situation), which is why we didn't make it very dark because you can get more light indoors.
The lenses are all that's missing. If your lenses are scratched or broken, simply take them out of the frame and replace them with these replacement lenses.
It is relatively simple to replace them. Simply adhere to the guidelines. It feels as if you're going to break them as you "push" them into place, but you won't.
To get the lenses started, place them in the sun for about a half-hour.

Review has been updated: Walleva contacted me, concerned that the lenses I had purchased were defective, and offered to send me a new set to try out. The second set is significantly more impressive. The first pair's cloudiness isn't noticeable to me. If they're more scratch-resistant than the first pair, only time will tell. I'm hoping my first pair was a fluke. br>br>I had hoped that these would be a good substitute for Oakley lenses at a fraction of the cost, but that was not to be. First and foremost, there is a lack of optical clarity. The lenses had a slight "cloudiness" to them that was noticeable when first putting the glasses on, but it faded after a few minutes of wearing them. Second, the plastic or coating is extremely soft and easily scratches. The first time I cleaned the lenses with a small microfiber cloth, I scratched them - I've been using the same cloth for years with no problems. I'm going to get the Revant or Oakley lenses instead of these. Walleva, I apologize for the poor quality of your lenses.
They're a tad undersized, and the frames creak a little when you move them around, but not enough to detract from the overall rating. By replacing my old lenses with these, I was able to save a significant amount of money. While I haven't done any formal testing, the polarization appears to be effective based on my experience wearing them at the pool and while driving. Because the lenses were so inexpensive, I'm less concerned about damaging them and now wear my glasses much more frequently. I would never consider taking them to the beach because of the risk of sand, but I've already taken them to the Dominican Republic and Mexico without hesitation. I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or if they're exceptionally well-made, but they haven't shown any signs of use. After a little brat (seriously, maybe a 10-year-old kid) tried to pick a fight with me and threw s*** at me, I had to replace my original lenses.
I bought these lenses a while back, and the coating on one of them is peeling off after only a few uses - It's a shame that these aftermarket lenses behave in this manner - I've had a number of similar problems with various purchases. I'm not going to buy anything else from this company.
I just . For the time being, I'll give it five stars. br>I just received the lenses; shipping was quick on Prime, and they snapped right in with no loose parts or blemishes! They came in a hard solid box for the lenses, and we're encased in a soft lense pouch with a separator for each side; much thought was put into ensuring you don't receive damaged goods! They will be exposed to a variety of elements because I am a heavy equipment operator. We'll have to wait and see how they turn out.
These replacement lenses are fantastic; I wasn't sure what I'd get for the price, but I'm very pleased with my purchase and would buy them again in another color. I had no idea they were polarized lenses, which was a huge plus for me because that's what I always get from Oakley. My favorite frames are the ones with monster dogs. With these replacement lenses, I can continue to wear them.
Walking around in my Oakleys with busted out lenses, my wife thought I looked stupid. I didn't agree with them, but I decided to replace them in order to save our marriage. Now they've let me in, and I'm looking for something to eat. However, I believe she continues to seek a divorce. THOUGHT: SHE'S NOT TAKING MY SHADES!.
They don't fall off, but they can be pushed out with ease - That's a big plus in the wnd. I'll be purchasing another set in the near future.
Purchased for my old school " Oakley Monster Dogs" I made the mistake of ordering a different brand of replacement lenses that were not polarized the last time I ordered replacement lenses. These Walleva lenses appear to be in perfect condition and fit perfectly. In addition, polarized lenses have a great look (in both directions) and provide significantly better UV protection. Excellent product!.
