Here's an update It takes one year to complete. Throughout my travels, it has been my constant companion, and now I have to find a new one, since I left it on a train. I was very impressed with how well the brushed jet black held up even when snagged on something sharp. Maybe someone else will carry on the tradition of bringing warm scarves on their travels, or maybe someone will just notice the label with my contact information. The investment is well worth it and it is a must-have travel item for men or women. It has been dragged through streets, stepped on, seated on, slept on, slept in, washed in every laundry condition, and abused more than ever. I was so envious of fellow travelers that I was literally prepared for anything and any type of weather in this lovely black bag. This is what I love the most. The blanket I used on 3-Seasons I also used as a dressup, coverup, and constant companion I went on a long trip for a month. You can wash it in a machine with cold water, or you can wash it by hand. Keep towels, zippers, and bras away when you wash with cold water. Usually takes at least an hour or two in the sun for it to dry. My weave is tight, it only snagged once on rough building material when I was pushed against it by a crowd. Damn, but I continued on. It is incredibly soft, making it a must-have for both men and women who travel.
It met my needs perfectly. In the summer, I was taking a vacation to Europe and wanted a garment that I could layer easily. This was the same as the one on the plane. The material is not heavy at all, but it does add an extra layer of protection. The scarf is also easily convertable to a blanket or scarf due to the lack of sleeves. Although it mostly spent its time folded up in a backpack, it got no terrible wrinkles due to how it was stored.
As a brand new item with no washing, I just tried it on around the house to see how it felt. I love it so far! Only the pocket for a hand warmer at the back is a negative. This is a feature I do not need since I will not use it and it makes reversing it impossible. Although it was clearly stated in the description, I will not deduct any stars for that! Warm enough to be worn anywhere! Fabric is soft, and it will keep you comfortable! A bit of a breeze will be enough to take away some of the chill, but it is not a warm, fleece-like fabric. You can wear it as a scarf or shawl, or use it as a blanket. I wish it came in more stylish colors so that I could order more of it. A white, dark grey, and even a red or coral color would be perfect!.
My favorite thing about this wrap is the color! Traveling with it is made easy because of its lightweight and compact size. Over an 11-day backpack trip through Europe, this scarf was my companion and I used it as a scarf, blanket, towel, and wrap all the way through. It is fashionable enough to dress up a basic travel day outfit, warm enough to keep away a chill during the winter months, and small enough to be thrown in a bag or tucked in a purse. I have just tried it on in the different ways I'll use it this summer on a trip. I will be able to wear it on the plane as well as over a light jacket in the evening when I need an extra layer to look appropriate. This pocket has a place to put an air-purifier On the plane, the heater will be activated, which will be of great benefit.
