Selected User Reviews For Veronz Super Soft Classic Cashmere Feel Winter Scarf
See pic: This scarf has a vibrant true red, white, charcoal/black, and tan color scheme with nothing "off" about it. There are no flaws in the fringe, and it appears identical on both sides. I didn't want to wear a shawl because it was too bulky. This is the perfect size scarf for me— just enough to wrap around my neck and hang down to my waist— and no one would guess it's not Burberry. (There are no labels to remove, either. ) ) I'm going to order more in different colors and give them as gifts. I'm very happy!.
I ordered an ivory scarf, but all I got was black and white with no hint of ivory. The scarf itself is soft and well worth the money, but keep in mind that the color you receive may not be exactly what you expect.
He wears it almost every day, so he must enjoy it. My boyfriend loved it as a Christmas present. It suits him well. The scarf is long and soft, and it does not fray. When the temperature drops below freezing, I notice he wraps it around his ears and nose as well. I'm going to order more of these in different colors. Warm, but not too bulky, scarf of good quality.
I went with the "Holiday Tartan," which looks like Black Watch plaid but has a thin red and yellow line running through it. The scarf has a luxurious feel to it, which surprised me considering the price, and it is as wide and long as advertised. For a Scottish Fiddlers performance, I plan to fold mine in half lengthwise, drape it over one shoulder, and gather and pin the ends together below the opposite hip as a sash. I couldn't find a good match for my ancestor's Fletcher tartan, but this one comes pretty close. It is, in my opinion, a fantastic deal. Based on the other reviews, I believe the various plaids are sourced from different manufacturers, resulting in a wide range of quality. I believe I was fortunate.
Pros: The colors of the plaid and the fringe are both appealing to me. The length is ideal, and the fabric is silky and comfortable - It isn't scratchy in the slightest. It should be warm enough for the weather in Southern California. For these reasons, it's a keeper.
Cons: The material is flimsy and of poor quality. I discovered a small 1/2" snag after unpacking it, which I will try to gently tuck back into the weave before it catches on something. I also discovered two 1/4" areas that are so threadbare that I'm sure they'll develop into small holes in the future. I'm not sure if this will keep you warm enough in the colder parts of the country. br>br>If the weave had been a little thicker, I would have given it four stars. I'm not sure how long this scarf will last. I'm willing to wash it by hand and hang it to dry if necessary - according to the care instructions on the label - because it isn't made well enough to withstand even my washer's and dryer's delicate cycles.
I have scarves for various coats, boots, and backpacks, and yes, I am a cold-weather person. I'm a weather girl, so I enjoy putting these pieces together for a polished look. When I'm out, I like to have a put-together look. This one appealed to me because it was a white winter coat with white fur trim. Look over your shoulder, hood It's a soft color with a delicate, clean appearance. I also use the scarf as a fashion statement on occasion. It appeals to me a great deal. Because the edges aren't finished and fray a little, I only gave it three stars for "giftability. " It's not a problem for me, but I'm not sure I'd want to give it as a gift if I knew it might fray a little. Apart from that, I give it a five.
I must be 100% honest; I am amazed at how my new scarf has weathered. The scarf is beginning to thread after just one wash. I washed the scarf in a delicate, cold water wash, but it still faded. The colors are fading, and there is a blueish tint to it. br>br>The scarf was fantastic for the first few weeks, and I got a lot of compliments on it. I'm afraid I won't be able to put it on any longer. What can I say, $11 is a small price to pay. It was worth a shot with the 00 scarf.
Second, it is exactly what it says it is: a lovely soft acrylic scarf that is excellent value for money. I think it was about ten dollars. 00 for this, and I'm very pleased with it. br>I only have a couple of items that would look good with this color, and I didn't want to spend the money on silk or cashmere.
