This cap comes with a scarf that can be dressed up with the scarf that comes with it, or I can substitute my own scarf Because my head is very large (24" around the hairline), this headband fits snugly on my head. I do have a tender scalp, so the fabric feels good on it. This item can be washed in the washer (remove the scarf) and dried on a clothes line. This is a highly recommended book.

I feel it is a good investment for her health and fashion. The thing she doesn't like about wearing wigs or other caps is their discomfort. In spite of the fact that she owns several wigs, they are difficult to anchor without her own hair to keep Aside from that, she wears a lot of beanies that are actually winter hats, but they have too much material at the crown, giving her head a pointed appearance As well as making her head hot, they also cause her hair to be frizzy. Using this beanie/scarf combo, she has the coverage she wants to hide the baldness, while softening the effect with the scarf to give the illusion of length and volume that could almost pass for hair. I wear it since I had lost most of my hair and it fits snugly on my head. My head is in between a petite and a medium. It took too long for me to return this cap, so I've only used it occasionally when my other caps are in the washer. Though I adjust it to fit especially the nape of my neck and my forehead, I do find that it is somewhat sloppy. It looks nice with a scarf and is a dark purple color. I haven't tried it with a white shirt.
