I'd prefer it to be a little thinner

These are a good match. My hair is pulled back into a bun, and it fits through the opening. Because the fabric is thinner than I prefer, it does not provide the level of warmth I require. It would be perfect if it was twice as thick; it works well in the 40s, but it doesn't keep my ears as warm as I'd like when the temperature drops to the low 30s or 20s.

Softball games can be chilly, so she always wears a hat to keep her ears warm. The back ponytail opening is an added bonus! We'll always have one because each pack comes with three! It's well-knit and holds its shape. I haven't tried it out on a run yet to see if it stays in place during activity. I like that I can tuck my ponytail behind my ear and still have it cover my ears and forehead. This will be ideal for the mild winters in Tennessee.
