I'm thinking about adding some more colors to my collection:.
I really like how thick these gloves and knee highs are. It's ideal for my creepy character.
For reference, I am 5'2", 104 lbs, with a 28-inch inseam, a 12-inch calf, and a 15-inch lower thigh (where these hit). These are fitted but not too tight and come up to about 5 inches above my knee. Despite my thin legs, these stay up comfortably and are super cute. Also, I couldn't find this lighter pink and black ANYWHERE ELSE, so when I got these and realized they were the color I wanted, I was overjoyed: However, if you have thicker legs, you should proceed with caution. These are perfect for me, but someone with thicker legs might find that they don't go up as high or are too tight on them. In terms of the gloves, they're a little looser than I'd like, but that's understandable given my small arms. I haven't washed these yet, but once I do, I'll let you know how they turn out in the washer. EDIT: br>br> They didn't lose their shape, color, rip, or anything else when I washed them: ) I was using "hand washables" mode (due to the fact that I was washing other things), so that could have helped. I'll probably give an update in a few months to see how they hold up. Oh, and I wore them all day, and they didn't slip down or anything after hours of walking around the mall.
This set is fantastic! The first point I'd like to make is this: Maybe it's just me, but the thumb glove holes are a little small, so I had to cut them out to make them bigger. But that's only a minor issue, and since it's so simple to fix, everything else is fine! The socks aren't as thin as some of the other socks on this list, which is a plus!.
23" calves (yay for asymmetry in the body, right? ) and, while the socks were comfortable, they were too tight around my calves. The arm warmers fit perfectly, and my forearms are 14" in diameter at their widest point; the fabric was a little warm for the convention I attended and the summer months, but hey, they're called WARMERS for a reason!.
They also have a see-through quality to them. When you put them on, you'll be able to see your toes. The fabric used is of poor quality. Is it worth $13? That's a lot of money for a product with holes in it, especially when it's brand new out of the box! br>br>The armwarmers are made entirely of the same low-quality fabric. br>br>The color was excellent. However, it is unlikely that this will be the case for long. If you care about quality, don't get this.
It's a comforting sensation, almost like a safety net. If you were one of those kids who always hid their hands inside their long sleeved shirts, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Soft and pleasant to the touch.
I gave them four stars because I'm not sure how long they'll last. I'll give them a new rating in a month or two after I see how long they last; the only reason I'm concerned is that they appear to be a little thin in person for the price.
