This is not an easy question to answer since every person's ears are different sizes and shapes, as well as distances from their heads. It is easy for me to get them to stay on, and they are comfortable as long as I don't move around too I also wear them under a thinner hat that I pull over them for a little extra coverage. My ears are about the size of an adult's. I doubt this will help but I believe they are considered small.

There is nothing intelligent about these. Although I bought these ear muffs for my mailman, I do not want to make his day worse with ear muffs that would be more of a hindrance and not even help.
