It didn't take long for them to fall apart. This headphones are constructed from cheap plastic and felt. There is no cushioning inside for the ears, just a thin layer of cheap felt over the plastic, then the soft fluff is added on the outside. I found the band uncomfortable and the ear muffs that clipped to the band scraped against my ears. They were just clicked into a hole and not secured in any way and would come off when I was putting them on and taking them The band of these crutches are uncomfortable for a teen or an adult since it bends differently when you expand it and sticks out on one side in a way that pushes into the top of your head. I did not think it was worth the price! The quality seems to be similar to that of the Doallar Store.
It's close to impossible to locate this type of earmuff anymore, so I have to deal You do get what you pay for when selecting these kinds of items since they were so inexpensive. It happens frequently that the round parts of the muff become detached when you try to open or fold them, but you can snap them right back into place if you are careful. The plastic headband was a bit sharp, but I simply filed it down with a nail file, and they worked fine. I also like the fact that the earmuffs themselves aren't too big and don't stick out too far Most of the other kinds are too big and make you look like you have a furry snowball slung over your head. I would suggest looking at other earmuffs that are more comfortable if one is not committed to this type of earmuff There are many options to choose from. In my case, I'll stick with them until they fail.
It fit well against my ears, had a good sense of warmth, and kept the wind from blowing into them. I got my hair tangled in the headband part of the garment, which scratched my head. They folded nicely during the first few times, which I appreciated. However, they became more difficult to fold after a few times of use. The only ear muff I managed to pull out of my jacket pocket the other day was in my coat pocket. They were broken off and the only way to fix them was to replace.
The size is small and the price is low. There is no way to "unwind" the band without the earmuffs falling off. They are attached by a cheap connector that allows easy reattachment, but is so flimsy that the earmuffs won't stay in place. You will receive a full refund if you return. A stiff surface lies against your head when you wear the muff. This isn't comfortable at all.
Though the ratings were negative, I bought these earmuffs because I was looking for a very specific item The band is purple, not too large, foldable, and it goes around the head rather than behind the head, so it's suitable for more mature adults (big enough to fit the head without being too cute). As others have said, the earmuffs are as cheap and flimsy as they appear to be. When I extended the band, the thin felt lining fell off and I didn't even try to put them on my head. Don't do it.
My head was going to hurt as they had a plastic nipple sticking out of them. Upon examining them, and making a comparison with another pair I had at the time, I found what I believe is an assembly error. Despite their inversion, they were still in the right direction. Nipples into slots have been designed for snapping into place on all parts. I reassembled them for the nipple part to go on the outside of the muff and not against my head after I took them apart. The band is not very flexible and feels as if it will break if stored in the cold. If stored in a cold location, they are difficult to put on and are difficult to put on. Consequently, if you purchase these, you may need to take them apart and reassemble them. The ones I have stored in a warm area, just on top of my heat vent, make them very easy to unfold and place on the The items would get a 4 out of 5 if they arrived assembled correctly.
This is the second order I have placed. A second was for my sister, who was visiting from the south and was staying up north. Her ear problems are always brought on by the cold air. I'm glad I got two since hers broke the second day she wore it, so I'm glad I ordered two. To use mine, I gave it to her. I guess at least she was here while it lasted.
They constantly detach and I usually have to look for the ear pieces. Manufacturers these days make a lot of mistakes, don't they? There is no way that I'm going to find a decent pair of earmuffs.
