I can't seem to get these to work right. They have a proclivity for slithering away.
I wouldn't buy these if I wanted to block out noise. They're primarily intended to keep you warm.
They were simply stretched.
No, wool is not the answer. The description refers to fleece, which is typically a poly/cotton blend or pure polyester. I adored them (and sadly, they are no longer with us).

This product has a poor design. I was planning on returning it, but pictures speak louder than words. The inside of the ear warmers is plastic, which slides but does not stay in place, as you can see in the photos. What's more annoying is that the adjuster protrudes from the ear piece housing, and there's nothing to protect your ear from it except the soft material covering it. Why does the earpiece have an adjuster? I think the design should be improved so that your ear doesn't get pressed against the hard plastic. Unfortunately, once adjusted, it does not remain in place. My head is small, so even after I tightened the strap, there was still a gap between the strap and the back of my head, waiting to be filled with snow. They might stay in place if I stood still, but they won't if you move around a lot. Larger heads or a full head of hair may benefit from this item. The materials are nice and soft, and the seams are well done, but I would not recommend it.
I gave them four stars because they would make excellent ear muffs for a child, but they do not expand to fit an adult as advertised. It has a non-slip surface. No matter how hard you pull on both ends of the black leather, the muffs will not expand. My disappointment was tempered by the fact that my grandson enjoys them.
I bought this product because it was supposed to be "adjustable" so that my son could use it. They are, in a sense, adjustable, but they don't stay at that size and spring back to almost full size. I bought them for that reason, and I can only get a partial refund if I return them. I feel as though I was duped and am now stuck with a subpar product.
These guys have been folded and stuffed into a backpack full of books for the entire week! They maintain their original form. They're extremely toasty. I really like how they don't go all the way to the top of your head. They're so soft, not too tight (at least for me), and each muff has thoughtful dips in it so your ears aren't squished by a flat fuzzy surface! Their curves are incredible! Soo good! I live in Minnesota, where the cold does not penetrate these ear muffs. It's nice to layer it with a thinner beanie for added warmth, and the ear muffs are a nice finishing touch! It covers the entire ear without protruding or being too big and bulky!.
The ear warmers are extremely comfortable to wear. The band on most ear warmers must be worn on the top of the head. The band on these ear warmers is worn behind the head, which makes them extremely comfortable. They can also be adjusted. Several customers complained that they were too small, but it's possible that some were attempting to wear them in the traditional way - by putting them on their feet. The top of the head is covered in a band. In any case, I am a very satisfied customer. They are very warm and do not irritate my ears. I'm thinking about getting another pair.
He liked one piece in particular, but he liked everything else as well. The only issue was that the inside that goes around the ear wasn't large enough and was a little irritating (this is why I only gave them 4 stars), but they are well made and make a "Big" difference on his daily walk around 54 acres with our dog.
These earmuffs were just delivered to me, and they appear to be quite warm. They are made of high-quality material and keep me warm during the winter. However, extending them is proving difficult for me. br>br>The seller claims that these are extendable, but they don't appear to be very extendable. Extending them in the air and then putting them on is one method I've discovered. However, there is no strap or other means of adjusting the size of the hat to fit your head. br>br>Because I'm having trouble changing the size of these earmuffs, I've decided to take a star off. Apart from that, they're fantastic, and I would recommend them to anyone with a small head.
They're warm, but they don't fit well on the back of my head; they slip off my ears and catch on the collar of my coat. I'm disappointed, but it's purely a matter of fit. They appear to be comfortable and of good quality. I'm going to donate mine.
