With the soles as they are, she wore them. If they make an appearance, I will ask them.
To protect the toe from being torn on dirt, the Sweep 4 cleats should be worn, as well as shin guards with a toe flap to protect the foot from being hit as a ball will flick off the toe. Adding a toe guard to shin guards will provide an extra layer of protection, but it is recommended that toe guards be added to the cleats as well. Thanks a lot!
I got them for my daughter and they fit big on her.
Any order for women's size orders on Amazon should be ordered in women's size. The M threw us off also and we had to return them thinking they were men's size, when they were women's measurements. Overall great cleat just had to return it. Sort by

Over the years, I have learned that buying cleats can be challenging. The fit of all brands varies (my daughter does not wear the same size in any of her cleats) and you may wear a different size in molded cleats than in metal cleats even if you wear a size in one brand. Before shopping online, it is a good idea to try sizes on in stores. That is what we did and were very pleased with that. Different colors were available online in a wider range of colors, and the prices were.
I've been satisfied so far with the durability of this Due to wear and tear around the toe area on her previous pair, we decided to purchase the reinforced toe cleats for her this year. Although this cleat has so far held up well on the outside, it is in need of some cushioning on the inside. A 30-minute wear of her shoes caused her feet to hurt. To get rid of the pain, I will go ahead and add an insole. Due to the lack of cushion, I thought others should be aware that they are not very comfortable. The only reason I gave it only four stars is because of that.
As a whole, the shoe fits well. However, when trying on the shoe I had to take three tries before finding the right size, so you might want to avoid shopping online if you can. I have already had problems with the soles of the shoes slipping off while wearing them. Rocks and dirt get caught under there as a result. When this happens, your feet feel like they are resting on about a hundred needles all at the same time. In my case, I replaced old craft foam looking insoles with arch support insoles. You can clean the soles after every game, or you can purchase arch support insoles. Other than that, the shoe is worth the expense and I have not encountered any problems so far.
A pair of 16U cleats I purchased for my daughter seemed great, but they weren't comfortable and the heel portion of one of them formed a ridge in the heel that led to her tearing her Achilles. The other shoes we tried were more comfortable and support the heel in a better manner.
The durability of these would be only a few months at most. I would have liked Mizuno to design them better for pitchers.
I pitch often and usually tear out my shoes, but I haven't with these. I was told to go up a size, but I have found that they are true to size and I did not need to do so.
The shoes are breaking in like crazy, and my 13-year-old has worn them in not one, but two games and one practice. The taste of vinegar is similar to that of wine. Who made them? What materials do they use? She still wears her old mizuno that she has worn for a season.
