The hole is big enough to hold one hemp strand. My fault for not paying attention to the dimensions was throwing away the package.
They are hollow but have a hole in the middle

Are you able to tell which set belongs to a new stone learner, I'm not able to tell them apart. I know a few, but not all. I am a Prime member, but the bags are not labeled, and I had to wait two weeks for them to arrive. Having to go back through my order and find out which ones are which was a bit challenging for me! It's so frustrating! I couldn't discern between them, they don't look like the pictures, and I couldn't tell which one was which even though I narrowed My disappointment is great! This is the kind of business I never do.
However, I suppose they are alright. The 8mm garnet beads I purchased for a project corresponded to my requirement for 50 beads. It took me about two weeks to receive 42, and they are much closer to 6mm, so I will have to order more from another seller.
Knowing they are not gemstones is all that you need to know. Manmade glass is what this is. I am very pleased with these beads & they are very well made Each millimeter size that I purchase has its own advantages and disadvantages. The blues are nice and flashes of gold are evident The milky transparent glass is flecked with gold. I'm in awe of how beautiful they look.
With pink quartz beads, they complemented each other perfectly.
The Opalite beads seem smaller than other 8mm beads I received from the same seller. It is not feasible to drill a hole this small. String with a diameter of 5mm.
I confess that I was surprised by how fast the package arrived, and when I opened them up I could tell that they are definitely real stones. The following materials are great if you're planning to make a bracelet or mala.
There is a very tiny hole in the ground! Making necklaces with this bead and the white Howlite is one of my favorite things to do. My only complaint is the hole is too small. The best big eyed needles I have have been ruined trying to pull string through. I have never had this issue with any other beads I have used. However, I will not stop using them as of now.
I loved the I used them to make a Hello Kitty necklace, and they worked quite well. It was a great book for my friend.
