While I don't see why it wouldn't work, I think cushions should be a bit more durable since they flex so much more than shoes do. On Amazon, you can find the 303 brand spray protectant series as well as other places. My experience with it so far has been good on carpets.

I am satisfied with my progress so far. So far, I've used it on three brand new pairs of shoes (leather, suede, and fabric) and no water beading has occurred.
