Questions & Answers

I've got a stain on my shoes that I can't seem to get out. Will the color be evened out and the stain be concealed?

It will most likely hide the stain. It's unlikely to completely conceal the stain. It's possible that a "tad" of darkness will be added to the entire shoe.

What is the significance of the color of the polish for the honey mustard reset?

Mid tan

Is it possible to use it on my purse?

NO REASON WHY YOU CAN'T DO IT IF IT'S LEATHER.

What color do you think looks best on "butterscotch" shoes?

I used this to polish a pair of reddish-brown shoes that were a little darker than taupe or tan. Because the base shoe color is present, this is most likely what will work.

It's a bottle of polish for your shoes
4/5

Kiwi paste shoe polish is what it is. It's up there with Lincoln and Cherry in terms of quality. If you put in a little effort, it will do the job - It's not instashine; this is a one-of-a-kind color. Neither a traditional tan nor a light brown. It can be difficult to determine whether or not a product is in stock in a retail setting. It will be half the price if you can find it in a store. br>br>Note! This isn't a tan or a brown - it's a combination of the two. It's the middle of the month. a tan that is somewhere in the middle of the two and slightly tinted It's even shaded like a nice piece of light fruit wood, so it's called "very light brown. " br>br>Here's why it's significant. If you use a wax that is darker than the leather on your shoes, it will almost certainly darken and recolor the leather. This will turn a pale tan leather orangish pumpkin/squash color if applied to it. That's fine if that's what you're looking for. It's highly unlikely to be what you're looking for. When used on darker leather, it leaves a pasty white film on the shine that doesn't look very nice and is difficult to remove. You should match your wax to your shoes, or at the very least the effect you want to achieve. This one achieves a flat, lackluster hue. If you're polishing something that's darker than tan but lighter than brown, use this method. This polish may be exactly what you're looking for. It's ideal for the "Sahara," as Sperry refers to it. br>br>One last point: If you've never used shoe polish before, take a look at a few YouTube tutorials before you ruin your shoes. If you've ever used shoe polish, you're already familiar with Kiwi. If you get this stuff on light-colored leather, laces, or stitching, it's a bad idea. It'll darken the color. That is exactly what it does.

It looks fantastic on my tan leather shoes and performs admirably. I've included pictures of the before and after.

My Keen leather Mary Janes have been reconditioned
5/5

This was originally purchased to repair some scuffed Dansko clogs that I purchased from a consignment shop. Then it occurred to me that I could use it on my Keen leather Mary Janes, which are six years old. Since I bought these, Keen has changed the design, but I'm keeping them because the new version doesn't fit my feet as well. These shoes have seen a lot of action, including soaking up some Scottish bog water and being washed multiple times. They were restored to their original color, which could still be seen beneath the strap, thanks to this polish. I used paper towels and a q-tip to apply the product. On the crevices, there are some helpful hints. I'm very pleased with the outcome!.

The TAN is a far cry from this
5/5

I'm not sure why these are referred to as TAN or MID TAN. ORANGE and TAN are the correct colors. After you've used the orange, After a few years of tan on my Ariat boots, I decided to try something new. This MID TAN shade complements the color of my leather much better. This one was a lucky find for me. I'm not going to change my mind.

This is a fantastic polish
5/5

Hand soap doesn't compare to this! My boots were resoled recently, and they came with a nice polish job. A panhandler approached me and began to "polish" my boots with hand soap two days later while I was in New Orleans. I was fortunate in that I did not kill the man and end up in prison. Instead, I went home and ordered this can of polish from Amazon, which I received two days later and had my boots looking brand new. br>br>Lesson to be learned: Everyone on Bourbon Street at 4 a. m. (or at any time of day or night) should be avoided.

Shine brightly! This is an excellent product
5/5

I tried some of the more expensive brands, but the results were disappointing. Should have gone with an established company that knows what they're doing. I used a horse hair brush to give my cowboy boots the high-gloss sheen I desired.
