It was 3 7/17" wide (slightly less than 3 1/2") at its widest point. I hope this has been of assistance. For felting slippers, I adore these.
Variable in size
They'll probably do it, but that's just a guess. I don't use the stretcher to put my shoes on. I used them to stretch felted slippers and keep their shape as they dried after felting. I've never attempted to make a men's size 12 garment. I took the stretcher's longest measurement. it's 12". Is this what you were looking for? To compare, take a measurement of your foot.
If your shoe is 12 or smaller, they will work as described.

They're simple to put on and adjust to fit your shoe size. They are also lightweight, making them simple to store in any storage system. To maintain their shape, they fit perfectly in my Rothy's. Because of my larger foot and its width, I chose a men's shoe size. They've met my expectations, and I'm pleased with the results.
Only one set of ten was received. Now I have to check to see if the money has been returned to me. br>In my Rothy's points, I don't use it. They will stretch them, so be careful. Flats will love it!.
Don't waste your money on this low-cost retail knockoff. The unit buckles and bends out of place due to the pliable plastic and the mettle rods in the center. There's no real pressure to do the jod it's supposed to be done for. You'll be better off if you get the real wood shoe stretcher with the tension knob. This item was not returned to me. It was immediately tossed in the trash.
These shoe inserts are of excellent quality. I'm a sneaker collector, so I don't get to wear all of my shoes all of the time, and these have kept them from losing shape due to not being worn for a long time. I used to save the paper or cardboard shoe inserts whenever I bought new shoes, but those get really old and lose their shape after a short period of time, so these have been a definite upgrade. br>br>They can be adjusted to fit your shoe size for a firm end-to-end fit inside the shoe. I'm not sure what size you can use it for, but it has 11 slots that you can adjust to fit your needs. I'm a size 9 in women's clothing. I've used the 6 slot for my shoes, and I've used the 5 slot for good measure. Depending on the thickness of the shoe's interior, I use the 5 slot on some of them. br>br>I purchased several sets for use and am very pleased with my purchase. If you're a sneaker collector, I highly recommend this.
I was excited for the product but disappointed when it arrived, the material is MAD cheap and the consistency of the product is off, out of 10 pairs, 4 were sturdy and held weight and felt amazingly thick while the rest are all flimsy cheapo feel, 2 of them already busted the hole the metal sits in, the shoes tree sometimes angles cricket when set, it doessent really shape the shoes like it's suppose to it's more of just front back pressure with no toe box raise Returning items is not something I enjoy doing, especially during this cold season.
The problem with most shoe trees is that they only apply linear pressure to stretch the shoe, not any vertical pressure to aid in shape and form. These were the answer I was looking for at a reasonable price; they are extremely study to the point where they require a little elbow grease to form to the shoe. Don't waste your time with the others; these are great and have a lot of surface area if you want to put a logo or sticker on them. It comes highly recommended!.
They are not as sturdy as the wood shoe trees, but I have hundreds of shoes and boots, so they are adequate in terms of value for money. I'm not sure how I survived all these years without them! As an example: Because I'm a size 5, they didn't need to be stretched at all:.
It gets the job done. These aren't the most durable shoe trees on the market, but they do the job admirably for the price. To keep their shape, I'm wearing them in shoes that don't have much leather. These are effective. I can't say I'm disappointed for the price. I have cedar shoe trees as well, but I used these plastic ones for a pair of cowboy boots because they fit better in the toe than the cedar ones. These trees have a sharper point than cedars. I could see some of the plastic parts in these failing or breaking, but at this price point, you can't expect much more.
