There's a touch of darkness to the concrete (like wet concrete), but it's still lovely and simple.

Despite being advertised as "concrete," these compartments are darker then they appear. How well does wet concrete work? This dark color really ruins the whole look, especially since it makes the plate/lid look off and blurry. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I wasn't exactly satisfied with the final product. I even like the box it comes in better because it has lighter compartments. But it's nice to have it The pieces stack well without any problems despite being heavy.
I would say the color of the concrete is more olive green than light grey. I still like the quality and feel of it, just that the color came out slightly different than I expected Light grey takes on a much nicer appearance when paired I took a photo of the box and the product.
