I couldn't decide between two and three stars for this one. This is due to the fact that it claims to hold 12 watches. And, despite the fact that it houses all of my timepieces, including my large G-Shock, it isn't the most You can only use 10 of the sloths on all of my Tissots, including my smaller Tissot. Because the door hinge comes down and smacks into your watches, the two on the left side aren't usable. If you have this, be very careful and don't put anything valuable on that side; I just removed the cushions and used those two slots to store some of my extra bracelet bands because they don't stick out above the top of the slot. Aside from that, there's a problem with the bottom drawer. The front of the drawer goes all the way down to the bottom of the box, making it impossible to slide it in and out without moving the box or holding it with your other hand. I put some thick rubber feet on the bottom of it to raise it up, and it's now fine. It turned a five-star watch box into something I struggle to rate between two and three stars because you don't get what you pay for in terms of the number of watches it holds and having to modify it just to use the drawer. Unfortunately, the hinge is riveted on, making it impossible to remove without damaging the box. As a result, it will never hold 12 watches.
The box is well-crafted. I, on the other hand, am hesitant to have a glass-topped box. I don't know how long it will last. It would be ideal if it were made of tempered glass or hard plastic. It was also larger than I anticipated, which is better for his timepieces. However, I continue to adore it. Unlike others, I have the ability to remove or rearrange parts to customize the box's appearance. Oh, and it arrived in excellent condition.
Brown is preferable to black when it comes to boxing. In general, this is a good box. Everything was well-packaged to ensure that nothing was damaged during shipping. br>For the price, it's a decent watch box. Check the edges of drawers and the corners of the box right away, as these are the places where shipping tears and wear are most likely to occur. I purchased the black one, and I must say that the stitching is a thorn in my side. Stitches in a brilliant white? I took a regular black felt-tip pen and colored over it, which was pretty detracting in terms of aesthetics. Now it appears to be a lot better. br>br>Girlfriend ordered the brown one, which is far superior in terms of aesthetics and comfort, as the watch pillows are made of a thicker material and stand stiffly in their sockets.
This has plenty of room for me to expand my watch collection, as well as all of my rings, wallet, and phone. br>You might be wondering what I did with the phone, but I drilled a hole in the back of the unit for my charger and ran a charging cable to my Apple Watch. I'll be able to keep everything in one place this way! br>One thing I would suggest is that the manufacturer include this hole, as I am sure I am not the only one who uses the product with a smartphone or smartwatch.
This box is nice, but there's a major flaw: the first compartment, which holds the watch, interferes with the metal part of the box where you open it, scratching the watch holder because it's too close to it. Who designed this thing? The box itself is nice, but the quality makes it not worth it, and the lack of being able to lock it is a deal breaker, that should have been offered even though they didn't advertise it!.
I was overjoyed when I saw this was on sale because it was something I had been wanting to get for my husband for a long time, as he has amassed a collection of watches and manly items and needs a nice place to store and display them. This box looked great in photos, and it had all of the compartments he needed at a reasonable price. I got what I paid for, so that's good. On Christmas Eve, I went to wrap gifts and discovered a crack in the glass, as well as stitching that was missing and done poorly. I completed the return process, and the seller promptly sent a replacement, which arrived after Christmas. However, that one had even more glass damage, a lot of scratching, and while the stitching was better, it was still shoddy. Both of them were returned. I'll put my money into it and get the better one.
Nothing on the box is damaged, scratched, or broken. It looks and feels high-quality, and I've already loaded it with watches and jewelry. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's also lovely, and it has a very modern appearance, so it will fit in nicely in my room. Definitely worth the money, especially when compared to some other similar-priced watch/jewelry boxes I looked at!.
My husband loved it and thought it was very fancy, so it was a surprise present for him. Within minutes of opening it, one of the pieces had broken. We superglued it back in place, and it seems to be holding, but it's embarrassing. Especially when given as a present. It shouldn't be falling apart for the price, as so many others have.
