It's a great little metal trinket, but I use it to store my end dice when I'm not using it. It can hold about 6 sets of them when not in use.
This isn't stamped sheet metal; instead, it's thick cast metal. The Medium Bronze I purchased weighed 450g, or just over a pound. I was initially put off by the price, but now that I've received it and felt its weight, I'm fine with it. The "velvet" is actually a type of plastic that has been coated. I can hear it crinkling at the bottom, where the cloth does not reach the box's bottom but is suspended 1/8" above it. I'm sure it'll eventually rip from the contents of the box. It does, however, have a pleasant appearance and feel. I wish I had paid more attention and noticed there was no latch or closing mechanism. The weight of the lid keeps it secure enough to sit on a shelf, but I expect this to be handled frequently, and I'd prefer a little something, anything, to keep that lid secure. The listing's measurements and photos were correct. People who complain about how small it is should make a small model out of paper using the listed measurements to get a sense of what the dimensions are like in real life. TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL DR - Knowing the poor alternatives to this on AMZ and carefully reading the description, I'm not disappointed at all because I don't think I could do better in this price range, but a slightly better lining and some sort of closer/latch would take me from "not disappointed" to "beyond happy. ".
This was purchased as a gift for my daughter. If you stack a few dice, it will fit about seven dice, and if you stack them all, it will fit up to eleven dice. Please look at the photos. The metal box is about 6 ounces in weight and has a nice metal heft to it, making it a great addition to your dice rolling adventure. The only disadvantage is that the lid does not lock; it simply closes, so the box must be kept upright while traveling. My DM took it and turned it into a mock-up in the middle of the game. session.
Dwarven Metal Dice from the Workshop for Dwarves I've been looking for a one-of-a-kind set of dice and a dice vault, and while there are plenty of expensive dice vaults made of exotic wood from around the world, I wanted something different. br>br>I keep this chest with my Q-Dice sets. (See the links below for more information. ) br>I needed a place to keep all 12 dice. In addition, I needed a dice box that either complemented or matched the dice. While looking for a miniature chest, I came across this, which matches the diced. br>br>With the two dice sets, I received a medium-sized chest. They were a good fit. br>In most cases, two standard size D shoes can be accommodated. D dice sets (10 dice each) in a medium-sized chest. br>The small one will probably fit only one. 5 dice sets (to check the dimensions, I made a cardboard box). br>br>As you can see in the pictures, this looks incredible. br>My only complaint is that there is no latch, but the build quality is good (it appears to be sturdy) and the chest is heavy enough that the lid closes by gravity. For extra grip, a few small rare earth magnets could have been placed at the latch. br>br>Apart from that, it's ideal. br>br>Here are the two dice sets I'm using.

The box in the photo appeared to be larger than it was. It is about twice the size of a regular single ring box and fits in the palm of your hand. It does, in fact, work as a ring box for multiple rings. It was purchased to house a ring I had made for my mother for Christmas, and I purchased a second ring box thinking I would be able to fit a regular ring box inside of it because it appeared to be so large, but it did not, which was fine. It does have black felt on the inside, and it is well made. It isn't held shut by magnets or anything, but it does a good job of sealing due to the weight of the closing door. If you turned it upside down, it would, however, fall open.
This was purchased to house my D die. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this item to hold items that will be thrown into a bag or similar container. It lacks a mechanism to keep the lid shut. I suppose a magnet or a hair-dryer could be used. I believe it is primarily used for display and has a tie around it to keep it closed.
The quality is excellent (I bought it for my wife to keep her wedding rings in). The velvet lining gives the impression that this item is worth a lot of money (it isn't). paid $22. 00). It's a fantastic present. AAA highly recommends this product because of the speed with which it was delivered.
I keep most of my valuable jewelry in a large jewelry box, but these are ideal for trinkets (rings, charm bracelets, and so on). They resemble lovely miniatures of old-fashioned treasure chests, and they go perfectly with my large jewelry box. One is for gold and the other is for silver jewelry. My jewelry is now well organized as a result of this method. The treasure chests are exceptionally well-made, long-lasting, and elegant, especially given their low cost.
