The color and style of this shirt are nice, however I don't like how it fits, the sleeves are too short, the body is too big, and the length is a bit short. I weigh 170 pounds and am 5'10", so it may be just There is a problem, however, with the quality. It is wearing out quickly and after a few washes, I am seeing some areas shrink more than others on the shirt. There is just a bad shape and fibers are already getting snagged. This is one I won't buy It's a shame since I enjoy a lot of ariat's work. In this case, not enough effort was put into it.
I wore this for three weeks before it fell apart. Although it was washed, there were still discomforts in the neck area " scratchy". A bad shirt. I used it as a TIG welding instructor, and it faded and thinned as soon as I wore it for only three weeks, working 40 hours a week.
Okay, so this shirt is a little more to the point than a regular blue collar work shirt. It kind of makes you look like upper management appearing on the job site. People have asked if it really was an FR shirt because it looks that nice and dressy.
This shirt has so far been a great purchase. This shirt fits my husband perfectly, and its long sleeves are perfect for him. Sometimes, it's hard to find shirts that fit well, yet are long enough in the sleeves. There is a good fit to it, and it washes well. His FR tan shirts were nice to see after all this time. A few people at work complimented him on his shirt, which he was worried would look too dressy.
I would like to point out that the shirt is not the same color and style as Unfortunately, I cannot return the item, since I need to wear it right now. It is also odd how large it is. My favorite Ariat clothes for FR have always been those I wear. As well as purchasing them for every day use, I have started using them for travel. His outfit looks great on him. I bought this for him. A typical FR shirt is all stiff and funky, but this one sticks to its relaxed style. His favorite part about it is its soft, light feel. He'll definitely be getting more of these in the future.
The size on the label does not reflect that it fits well. I wear Adult Large and had to get an Adult Medium. I could fit an adult medium in an adult.
