Questions & Answers

I recently unwrapped a box of six that I had ordered in 2017. They didn't have the boots that were listed on the website. I've previously placed an order for a large quantity of these. What was the reason for this?

I'm afraid I can't say, but mine has.

Is it possible to wash these by themselves a couple of times without compromising the garment's integrity? Isn't it true that I still want to be safe?

They're disposable because you throw them away once they've been contaminated. I'd recommend getting a jacket if you want to wash a garment that won't be contaminated. Alternatively, if you just wear it to a costume party and spill lemonade on it, I believe it would hold up to washing and, in fact, might make the costume a little more interesting all wrinkled.

Where can I find sizing information or a size chart? I'm a fairly average height and weight (5'9" 190lbs - large? ) but since so many people have inquired, a complete chart would be beneficial?

A large fits me perfectly because I'm 5'9 210 pounds.

Do these six packs come in the manufacturer's packaging, or are they simply shipped folded with no retail packaging or sealed bag?

Just one non-stretching non-stretching non-stret bag that has been sealed

For the Little Toxic Inconveniences of Life Do you live in a house that is more than a few years old? Do you live in an area where the weather can be unpredictable? Are you a resident of a gentrifying older neighborhood? Perhaps you'd like to do some DIY work on your older home, which may contain lead, asbestos, or even itchy fiberglass
5/5

This is something you must have. It's not just for the end-of-the-world. br>br>I've lived in hurricane alley, tornado alley, and along the San Andreas fault, and while I've been fortunate, I've had trees fall on my house, been trapped by flood waters (which thankfully did not reach my house), lived in an apartment where the basement flooded to two feet and the landlord didn't feel like cleaning it up, and most recently had condo neighbors whose renovation spilled over into my condo. You want to get rid of that junk without bringing it into your home? Put on a tyvek suit to protect yourself. You'll also need gloves and a mask or respirator with these.

At the very least, go up a size! If crouching or crawling is required, add more
5/5

Before stepping foot (or knees) into any attic or fiberglass-containing location, take this internet stranger's advice and invest in these. Because fiberglass works right through just about any other fabric except these, these made an already unpleasant job a lot more bearable. br>br>I normally wear an XL, and the 2XL was just big enough for the crawling, squirming, twisting, and wallowing required for attic maneuvering. br>br>Double glove with disposables, tape (DO NOT USE DUCT TAPE or you will have to cut them off. Purchase a large roll of inexpensive painter's tape and tape the first layer of gloves to the suit before applying the second layer. Now the only thing that's visible (you are, after all, wearing a mask, right?) is your face. ) is the name of the part of your body that contains your eyes. I wore a bandanna to keep sweat out of my eyes and to secure the hood so it didn't slide over my head when I turned my head. Because of how I positioned the hair clips I used to secure the hood, I was told I looked like an alien with antenna. The PPE was $6 per day, but I wasn't itchy (just hot) and didn't cough (remember N95!). ) so I think it was a good investment! br>br>One final point- The booties that come with the package aren't as durable as the booties that are sold separately. I fixed this by taping the toes and balls of my feet in my booties to keep them from being abraded open.

It's great, but you'll probably get too hot in it
5/5

I am 5'- The large size was perfect for me, as I am 9 feet tall and weigh 150 pounds. This was used for a DIY spray foam kit, and it performed admirably throughout the project.   If you're not trying to protect yourself from liquids or hazardous chemicals, I'd recommend opting for a more breathable coverall.   While Tyvek is excellent for liquid resistance, it has a low vapor permeability. to feel at ease working on my behalf   All I needed was contact protection to keep the spray foam from getting on my skin or clothes, which was all I needed for what I needed it for.   I'm going to try DuPont ProShield coveralls the next time.

Great product, but go up a size
5/5

These were purchased while we were having foundation work done on our house so that we could crawl underneath it. Because I'm 5'8", I went with the large size based on other reviews. They were made to go together. I liked the shoe cover/bootie that came with it because I don't have any work boots that I'd want to ruin. I probably lost 4 pounds in sweat after about 30 minutes, but it's summer, and the suit is designed to keep nothing in (or out: They're great for multiple crawls if you don't run into any snags.

I'm wearing the correct size, but it tears and falls apart
3/5

XL for 5'10", 195, athletic build, and they rip in the crotch and down the leg every time within an hour of demo time; these are SO TERRIBLE that I wouldn't even recommend buying one as a Halloween costume to make you LOOK LIKE you're working on something!.

Disposable Protective Coverall with Elastic Cuffs, Attached Hood, and Boots made by DuPont Tyvek 400 TY122S
5/5

I used mine for mowing lawns and crawling under cars to work on things because it was light and comfortable but still strong and protective. I despise the feeling of grass clippings and grime clinging to my skin, clothes, and hair, knowing that some parasite or carcinogen is accompanying me. I do get warm inside, but because it breathes a little, the heat only builds up to a point. br>br>Over the last year, I've gone through a couple of cases and have yet to tear a hole in any of them, including the boots, which are bonded to the rest of the coverall. I'm 5'10" and weigh around 200 pounds, and I usually wear an XL in t-shirts. The 2XL is my preferred shirt size for these units. I wear underwear and stretch and contort a lot, so having a little extra room is a plus.

Maintains the Crawl space's integrity
4/5

These Tyvek suits are an excellent way to attract the attention of your neighbors. Especially for projects that take several days to complete. But they do keep the filth off your clothes, skin, and other surfaces. I found that a medium fit me perfectly at 5'7" and 145 lbs (female). The built-in footies provide good shoe protection, but I always struggle for a few seconds to properly unfold them. Kneepads should also be worn to prevent knee splits. Last but not least, when I'm not creeping out my neighbors in these space suits, I work in a lab, and we were able to get a version with real cuffs on the sleeves. This is a huge improvement over the cheap elastic cuffs. With this model, you won't be able to get a good seal between your work gloves and your sleeves. To compensate for this shortcoming, wear gloves with an extended cuff or a long-sleeved shirt you don't mind.

Assurance of safety
5/5

At the very least, I'm safe for the time being. br>Which was for insulating my attic, which, due to its maximum peak height of 36 full inches, no one would touch. br>However, it wasn't for the insulation at all. I didn't want the remains of the four-legged squatter to come into contact with me. If you aren't working in a company that uses these, be aware that they aren't exactly breathable. As a result, a woman of a certain age who has a tendency to overheat might find this a little too hot. Just thought I'd throw that out there;.
