The navy blue is true to its name. The shirt is very nice.
In the 7x, my 6 year old child is comfortable wearing it now, and it will fit him next year as well. It has a slim profile.
My recall is that these shirts run very true to size. I would suggest purchasing a 6 in order to accommodate growing A 5T and a 6 don't do that much different from one another.
